Well, we have decided to maybe change our travel date now. Which means, we will be in Disney on MY 40th BIRTHDAY!! Can it get any better than that?? :cheer2:

Anyhow, can I get opinions on where I should book us to eat that night? We will be meeting up with our friends (from here so we see them all the time, just trying to plan around the same time) so there will be 4 adult, two 5 year olds (one boy, one girl) and one 3 year old girl. I Would like it to be fun for everyone, but special for me of course LOL. And I would like to order one of the special cakes for all of us too I think (or have hubby do it).

Thanks everyone!

Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner! It does not get much better for the atmosphere, eating in the castle overlooking Fantasyland:cool1: . The food is pretty good too!

We ate at LTT on my mother-in-laws b-day last May.

There were 8 of us seated at a large, round table.
As we were being seated, a cast member decorated the table & threw confetti all over it.

I had pre-ordered a b-day cake. After our meal, when it was delivered to our table...several servers came over with some of the characters & sang "Happy B-day" & presented her with a card that had been signed by all of the characters. We had a great time!

We spent my 40th b-day at House of Blues. The food was awesome!!! Not sure it would be good for the kids though. They would probably find it more boring.

I would do CRT too with the kids. Mine are teenagers, so they were not amused with that option:lmao:

We love celebrating birthdays at WCC in the Wilderness Lodge because the whole restaurant gets involved! The entire restaurant sang Happy Birthday to my son on his second birthday and he still remembers it over two years later!

There's other fun for the kids like stick pony races and a Lincoln Log table. The servers are great with the kids and adults with joking and quirky personalities as well.

We have enjoyed the food at WCC every time we have visited there too.

Good luck and Happy Birthday! :wizard:

Another vote for CRT! With the wide rage of ages, this will be fun for everyone!

One thing to remember; there is no alcohol served in MK, so if you are looking for a drink on your birthday you'll have to go outside CRT may not be the place.

If you are looking outside MK, the Coral Reef maybe fun for everyone!

Happy Birthday, and have fun!

I'm going to HBD (Brown Derby) for my 41st Bday this year with the fantasmic package - so I have an entire evening of celebration.
If we hadn't done it recently, I would be at California Grill during MK fireworks. The view of MK is wonderful and during the fireworks they dim the lights and pipe in the music from Wishes - the show would occupy the kids and you'd get a great Bday meal!
WCC sounds fun if that's more your speed - we enjoyed it when we went, but I'd do it for a kid Bday not mine...
For my 39th, we went to the MNNSHP dressed as a Bday party...

I am sorry, I Am just slow on catching on to the abbreviations. Please tell me what WCC is!!

I do not require to drink (though I know sometimes a Disney trip with kids may require it LOL) I just want somewhere Fun, good food, entertaining for all of us, and which gives me the attention I deserve on my birthday LOL! (Like the princess I am!).

We did Castle last year for lunch and loved it and will do it this trip, but I wanted something new. Plus the castle was pretty calm as far as character meals go.

Cinderella's Royal table is fantastic, we had a lovely birthday meal at Akershus although the food is not for the picky.

Definitely the best meal if you are looking for food and not entertainment and not aiming for the higher end of the market is Boma. Out of three weeks it was the favourite meal for all of us although DD enjoyed the Princess meals for the entertainment.
