Hello! What suggestions do you have for a special birthday dinner for my soon-to-be 6yo old triplet daughters? This will be our first visit to Disney so I have no knowledge whatsoever and am trying to crash-course and make some great plans. Thanks!

#1 register their birthday with WDW so that the triplets will have the option of either a free park ticket, a gift card for the value of a ticket if they already have one (about $63), or a fast pass for the family (sounds like you could get a family fast pass and two gift cards!);
#2 get "It's my birthday" buttons at town hall (to the left just after you enter MK) so they will get special treatment and congratulations from everyone you meet that day;
#3 you can order special birthday cakes from your resort or for any sit down meal;
#4 gifts of a lifetime will arrange a special party or photo shoot or even a scavenger hunt with gifts hidden throughout the park (take a look at http://www.giftsofalifetime.com/);
#5 consider the Bippity Bobbity Boutique or the Main St. Barber Shop for a special "hairdoo" with glitter to be festive;
#6 the WDW Florist can arrange to have flowers/balloons/birthday suprises delivered to your room;
#7 consider the "Happy Birthday" mickey mouse ears or check ebay for iron-on transfers for the "birthday girl" (I just bought one made of pink rinestones in "disney" lettering" to go on a $4 old navy t-shirt)
#8 Its WDW -- if it is their first time, their birthday will be magical just being there!

Definately dinner at 1900 Park Fare:) What a special treat that will be...everything will just be so magical for them..Keep reading these boards and you will get so much info your head will spin....

How fun!! Wow, Kristiebird-those are some great suggestions! :thumbsup2 If your girls are in to princesses, they will LOVE Cinderella's Royal Table (where they can dine in THE WDW castle.) princess:

As far as shirts, you can head on over to the DISign Thread http://disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=105 & find DISigners who will design your shirts for free! (You just iron them on yourself.) I have a Mickey/Minnie birthday design that I will glady send you if you're interested.

Like Kristiebird mentioned, it's WDW---you can't help but have a magical trip! Good luck & God bless. :goodvibes

1) Have your anniversary-birthday-honeymoon-etc noted on the ressie or on ADR's.
2) The CM's have a lot of leeway of things to do or not do for you.
3) It simply is a matter of the CM's initiative and how busy they are that day.
4) It also depends upon how much they like you as a guest.
5) Expect nothing and be pleased with any CM activities.
6) Some of the things a CM can do for free are
. . . decorate table with Mickey confetti
. . . best table location
. . . special personalized menu
. . . autographed birthday cards
. . . balloons
. . . gifts for kid's baby teeth
. . . wine or champagne
. . . appetizers
. . . cake
. . . autographed placemats
. . . wine or fruit basket sent to room
. . . flowers sent to room
. . . room upgrades

NOTE: Anyone can get balloons and an autographed card in the room after check-in. Just ask at the Front Desk or Concierge Desk. Based upon availability and scheduling, they may come sooner or later, but they usually come. Also, baskets-gifts-etc cannot be delivered to the room prior to checkin in order to be in the room when the guest gets to the room.

Thanks everyone for these ideas! You are all so awesome to share your ideas.

I happened to ask my girls tonight what they were most excited about, and it is meeting Princesses.

They each have personal favorites, but in general they all love any/all of the princesses, and one of my daughters has a soft spot for Lion King.
Here are their top princesses in order:
JM: Belle, Snow White, Ariel (& Lion King)
JT: Jasmine, Aurora, Ariel
SR: Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White

If we go to a princess meal at Norway Akershaus or Cinderella castle, do most fo the little girls wear tehir princess dresses? That will influence when in our plans we might do a meal like that - would need opportunity to garb up before, and go back to hotel after rather than in the middle of park time.

I'd try to book the castle. It isn't the only place to meet princesses but there is something really magical about it, especially for first timers, and you'll get to meet several princesses all at one meal (we saw Cinderella in the lobby, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White and Aurora upstairs). Just make sure to book breakfast or lunch because dinner isn't a princess meal.

Remember that the castle only has princesses at breakfast and lunch. Not at dinner anymore.
Just noticed Colleen said the same thing.

We liked the breakfast at CRT, but next time I think I would like to try lunch.

The only place to meet Ariel in human form is Akershaus for lunch or dinner. We caught her at lunch. She is my DD's fav princess. Heres the pic.
