:wizard: Where is the best place to celebrate a childs birthday at WDW? Have you been somewhere where they made it very special?

I asked the same question and chef mickey's was recommended.
We are doing crystal palace for lunch (I love pooh bear and my son is going to be 4) and chef mickeys for dinner. We are going to order a mickey bday cake for chef mickeys...cuz we can bring the left overs back with us as the cake is large and there are only 3 of us. We were told that they do a comp cupcake and placemat (chef mickeys told me this today when I called to ask about the mickey cake.

Actually celebrated at Garden grill twice and both times we got a free cake to share with our family..

The servers and characters came to sing and wishh DD a happy birthday and see her blow her candles. They gave her a birhtday certificate after lunch.

Really nice of them.

Just got back and we celebrated my GD 8th birthday - At 1900 Park Faire breakfast (which we had for brunch really) she to the crown and cake and singing and fanfare with charachters (Mad hatter and Alice were great), also got to keep her special birthday placement, signed by the charachters - also at Garden View Lound, had tea - we ordered her the cinderella slipper dessert as a surprise and dog bones for the boy in the group - but they also brought the cake with candle, announced to room and another crown! Then a special CM in frontierland gave her a leather engraved wrist band with charm for her birthday - what a big surprise that was! Then at the castle for dinner, another crown, confetti, etc on table - no cake, sundae with chocolate crown and a certificate (Magical Moment Birthday)...so she had a week of celebrations. The best was the tea at garden view - second was 1900 Park Faire - but she says even today that the castle was her favorite meal...oh well.

Thanks everyone! :flower: I want my DD's 12th birthday to be very special because on our last trip my 2yo got most of the attention and she was feeling left out. I want her to be the star of this trip! :earsgirl:

Do you have to call ahead to get the cupcake? Do you call Chef Mickey's? My daughter will be 3 right around then, and she would love the cupcake (we don't need a whole cake!).

I Did DBf's 26th birthday at Crystal Palace for Breakfast!! LOL (He's a big kid at heart, and loves Eeyore!) All I did was mention it was his Birthday when I made the PS and had him wear his Birthday Button (Don't forget to pick these up free at Guest Relations of each park!). They brought out a special cupcake with a candle on it, put pixi dust and streamers on the table, and brought out a birthday card signed by the 100 acre wood gang! It was great! His bright red face couldn't have looked happier! (I also did a Wishes Fireworks Cruise that night, which was absolutely AMAZING!!) :bday: to your DD!!!
