Special Accomodations...Upgrades Feb 07

Hi, I was reading yesterday and cannot find the thread today about calling the Disney resort 5 days before arrival and asking for "special accomodations" because they don't assign rooms until 5 days before...therefore you may get free upgrades. When calling what exactly do you ask for? We DH 3DDs 3 1/2, 2 1/2 and 7 mths will be staying at POR second week in Feb!!! Also my mom and stdad are going and staying atPOR.

Any other tips will be greatly appreciated!

I have never heard of this.

I think you are referring to room preference requests. It doesn't have anything to do with upgrades. It is about putting in your requests for your room such as non-smoking or first floor.
