Hi Bob

The patient seems to be doing better each day but she is still in a lot of pain. Of course, right now we make quite a pair as it seems I picked up a "bug" of some sort in the hospital and spent most of the weekend in bed sicker than a dog only getting up to make Mom's meals.

The new laptop is really KEWL....I love Microsoft's One Note program....it is the KEWLEST thing!!!!!

Good about the laptop.
The thing I like about mine is the widescreen. DVDs look great.
Also like the webcam.

One Note is more than I need.
Besides, I replaced the trial Office that was installed with OpenOffice.

Hope the birthday was a good one.

Why don't you rent your points and use the cash to pay for the cruise? It is unlikely that room numbers will be assigned with bookings again. You might get lucky and get a room assignment before the final payment is due.

I like the idea!

Just rent them, on the rent / trade board!
You will probably get enuff money to pay tips also and spending!

I requested tickets for the concert they will be taping for the Disney games-May3 at WDW Sports Complex. The tickets need to be picked-up at the WWS Complex by 6:00 pm on Wednesday-April 30. My daughter and I were not heading down to FLA until May 1 in the evening.

Does anyone know anything about this event or have a contact number?
I have only an e-mail address, whcih I sent an e-mail to and rec'd an automated response.

I am not sure if anyone can pick the tickets up for me without ID--any ideas?

O.K. we are all set for this cruise.
The cruise is paid for. Changed it to points.
Got a great airfare. Indy to Orlando. Non-stop.
At AKV afterward for two days. DVC.

Hoping for a lower rate on a rental car for two days.
Guess we will hold out until the last minute.

Started looking at excursions in Nassau.
Atlantis is expensive. Will see.

We are flying from Indy to Orlando for the cruise too! Maybe we are on the same flight!

Haven't been posting much over here. We have been busy trying to buy DVC points. Think we finally got it! Will let you know.

Hi Everyone!

We're back from the world! Great weather... great time! Had a scare at the Orlando airport yesterday!

We made it back home... barely... Orlando airport was in chaos yesterday. Someone showed me a news clipping this morning which shed some light on everything.

They arrested a Jamaican man around noon in the ticketing area. They found things in his luggage which could be used for an explosive device (pipes, end caps, BBs, batteries, unknown liquid, and bomb-making literature! NICE!!!

We pulled into the airport around 1:00. Police were there pulling over cars. Traffic was backed up everywhere, and of course, we were in a HURRY!
We were returning our car to Dollar and were just able to exit left while the police were on our right! Whew!

Inside at SWA, it was chaos. They had shut the check-in counters down and had everyone in the atrium area. People with huge bags were trying to go through security! No one was really helping them out. Fortunately, Joe and I each only had a carry on.

Once at the gate, the board was updated to show a delay of 2.5 hours! No sooner had we sat down, when we heard an announcement that we would be boarding in 10 minutes! We were glad to get on the plane and head home.

I saw this on the news this morning, and I was glad we were flying out of Atlanta yesterday, not Orlando!

Race conditions were not really bad, it was just alot cooler than we expected, and more wind than I expected, but we train in wind, so that in itself was not bad, just unexpected. It did not rain, and the roads were basically dry, just a few puddles that could easily be avoided.

Sorry to hear about your losses.

Even though I am definitely looking forward to this cruise, I wanna enjoy the summer.
So that ticker can just take it's time when the weather is nice and hurry on those rainy days.

We are flying down the morning of the cruise.
Since we did the flight reservations thru DCL, they will make sure we get to the boat. Hopefully.

Yes, we definitely are! Anyone who wants to give out FE gifts can use the roster to see which cabins the Dissers are in . . . we will have a more complete list as final cabin assignments come in closer to time . . .

I agree and we have had a boatload of rain lately!

We are heading down a couple of days early but Indy offered the best price and let us use some FF miles. Cincinnati is never a good deal on airfare.

2008 has got to get better; it hasn't gotten off to a great start. Thanks for your condolences.
