If, when you say she was with Josh, you mean touring....then yes....but if you mean WITH Josh...then no. :rotfl:

Depends on what "with" means-
not with in the Biblical sense!:goodvibes

Reminds me of "Depnds on what "is" means!

Glad mom's surgery went well, sorry for the pain. --how did that little pinkie get into so much trouble?

Elaine! So glad Margaret is at home. Thanks for the update. I'm sure both of you can use some rest.

Glad the surgery went well. :goodvibes

Hi Margaret!

Elaine glad mom is doing well, well as well as can be expected.

"is" "with" There are too many Fruitcakes in this world.... LOL

Found a KEWL resturant here near my sisters place, Peg Legged Polly's, very island themed, had a great grouper sand and coconut shrip. If we go back will have the Mango Mojito. Bob it is our kinda place. Owner wears shorts and hawaiian shirts.

Quick question: I saw on the list that we have a formal night. Is that definite?

Thanks!
Lisa

O.K. we are all set for this cruise.
The cruise is paid for. Changed it to points.:thumbsup2
Got a great airfare. Indy to Orlando. Non-stop.
At AKV afterward for two days. :thumbsup2 DVC.

Hoping for a lower rate on a rental car for two days.
Guess we will hold out until the last minute.

Started looking at excursions in Nassau.
Atlantis is expensive.:scared1: Will see.

I just was wondering were you got a good airfare for Indy to Orlando? I'm looking for my parents.

Thanks!
Lisa

Is this your First cruise?

Anyone know why they opened up staterooms on our cruise? Looks like Cat 11, 10, 6, 5, and 4. Seems like that would be a lot of cancellations? Maybe a group or TA cancelled a block of rooms?

I just called today and booked for this cruise! I had asked why so many new rooms and the Cast Member said a combination of cancellations and a release of more rooms. Lucky us!

Our first cruise ever!

What likely happens is when the rooms are sold out any cancellations don't go immediately back into inventory. Once things get straightened out again with guarantees, etc., they will put the rooms back into inventory. I know of at least four rooms that canceled and never showed up right away when they did.

For some people TROPICAL is FORMAL!

My DS T.J. has several school pictures of himself w/"Hawaiian" type shirts. Any time I say wear something nice with a collar (not a Yankee t-shirt) he puts on his Hawaiian shirt-so funny-family parties, Easter, class picture-TJ has his blue Hawaiian shirt!! So a formal night for T.J. will be a TROPICAL night as well!

Now, what is Disny'e idea of Formal--blck tie formal or just a suit formal?

Welcome Aboard Nftysqrt and crew.

How we spent our Sunday:

ING ATL ½ Report:

Up at 00315, temp in the mid 40’s and it stayed that way for the whole day. We woke to the rhythm of a pouring rain, as it was a rainy night here in Georgia, donned the race kit, packed a cooler with water, drinks, and food, and drove into ATL. Found a parking place ½ block from the end of the race, it was a kewl lot with porta potties, score!!!! We were mega early, sat in the car till 0600. The rain was a light drizzle at that time, as we made our way into the porta potties. Got done there and headed to our corals, this was a little tough as there were changes due to the recent storms and the necessary changes as a result.

The day we went to the EXPO we noticed several of the buildings with broken windows and repairs ongoing, A race volunteer told us that Centennial Park will need to be re-sodded because of the broken glass.

I still and will always get a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye when our national anthem is played. I thank the good lod for all the brave men women past and present who made the great sacrafice so we can enjoy such events.

I was in Corral 6 and Lynn on Corral 7, the rope was dropped and there Lynn was next to me till the start.

The course was nice in that it took us through many historic areas of ATL, with neat old houses, and tree lined streets, the spectators were great. I missed not having the race clocks at various mile markers, I only recall seeing a race clock at the start/finish. THE VOLUNTEERS WERE GREAT. Water stops were plentiful and well manned. We did not notice any shortages of water or Gator Aide (I think that is what was offered). The course was pretty hilly, I heard several folks saying”another hill”.

The weather stayed overcast and there was no rain, the wind was cool and strong at times. Just like Wyoming. Saw some pretty cold people at the end, hypothermic for sure in the med tent.

The finish was well organized, lots of water, lots of food, Apples, Bananas, yogurt, cookies, pretzels, muffins, and bagels. Publix provided as a sponsor.

Lynn and I both garnered PB’s, 2:39 for me and 3:10 for Lynn. It was a fun Race for us THANKS ATLANTA.
Looking forward to seeing some of ya in May......

Hi,

We're new to the 9/1/08 cruise. We prebooked last August for 8/08. I just read about the 9/1 a month ago and was sort of waitlisted.

It'll be myself, DH and ds7 (then 8). This will be our 5th cruise, but our first double dip. I have absolutely no info at all other than that.

Is there a pirate night? Formal night?

Colleen
