Hope your day was wonderful!!

Yes Cheryl, hope the day was a MAGICal one.

Update on Mom

Well we saw the surgeon again today. He took out her stitches and sent her for yet another x-ray. He said her finger is healing nicely considering the damage she did. He said the pins will be staying in for another 4 weeks or so. We see the surgeon again in 2 weeks.

Good news on Margaret, Elaine.
You need to get her healed up for the cruise..
All of our best heading north.

....LILACS!!! My Favorite! We have buds on the lilacs too. Can't wait until they start blooming. Joe will be sneezing his head off, but I'll be enjoying them ! :goodvibes
I love the lilacs on our bush too.
If we make it thru this evening, they should be fine.
It is supposed to get down to 30, but with a light breeze.

Finally,
WELCOME to all the new cruisers.:thumbsup2
It will be so great meeting all of the new friends.
And it will be a sweet treat meeting the old ones too.

Everyone have a great week.

Hey Scott, JB is playing "The Stories We Could Tell"

later..

So I don't know if this question belongs on this thread or not but here goes. This will be our 5th DC and I want to do one of those fish tail things. I think I can figure out how to make one but would love any and all helpful tips (PM me please) anyway question is, Do I have to sign up for it how does it work??? HELP!!! Thanks
Lisa

Lisa, I do not know if anyone sent you a PM, but I will answer part of your question here, Peter probably has the link to instructions on how to make a fish extender. All you need to be is on the master list to be involved. Some folks will be putting things in your fish extender during the cruise, but you do not need to feel obliged to do the same. It is fun just to see all the fish extenders up, and I think there will be quite a few on this cruise.

Just a note, don't forget to bring a zip tie to secure your fish extender so it does not jump up and swim away (as some have been known to do).

I also love lilacs, and I do hope to put in a bush or two here one day! I have seen then here in Cheyenne, so I know they will grow here.

Bob, Scott has been very busy at work, and I don't think he is spending too much time on the boards, maybe over the weekend, if he gets to take this weekend off!

Georgie

Thanks for calling...you made Mom's day and it was so great to hear your voice.

Only 138 days until our cruise!!!!!!!!

Just an FYI for everyone

I called DCL and paid off our cruise last night (me doing the paid off dance    )....and the CM I spoke to asked if I needed the date that I could start to make my reservations and I replied that I thought a Castaway Club members could make their reservations (Palo, excursions, etc) 90 days before the sailing and he found out that although I had a Castaway Club reservation number, the original booking agent had failed to label our reservation as a "repeat cruiser".....so you might want to call DCL and just confirm that if you are a Castaway Club member that your reservation is coded correctly....I would have hated to have found out on June 3 that I couldn't book my Palo brunch!!!!

Usually DCL sends out a letter and a little packet regarding excursions a month or so before the 90 day mark -- in the letter it will say the date you can book online, and if it doesn't say June 3 you know they don't have your CC number and you can call them or your TA and have it changed . . .

Congrats on being paid in full!:thumbsup2

Thanks for the info Lynn, and the heads up on the zip tie. I would have never thought of that.
Lisa

Whew! Alot to catch up on!

Happy Birthday Cheryl!
Snow! Yikes! I am so over snow.
Love Lilacs -my Forsythias are blooming.
Elaine, glad mom is on the road to recovery.
Bob and Lee-how nice! Glad you had a great trip.
Welcome to new shipmates.
I feel like I need to call MS as they always mess up my Castaway Member #. Thanks for the tip.

Who else is booking a Palo brunch? Is that for a sea day?

Let me just say--baseball season has begun --3 kids 6 teams --which way do I go, these socks don't match! these cleats are too tight -need new ones! I forgot I have a test tomorrow and dinner on the run sums up my days in a nutshell!

Cheryl..HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY !!!!!! pixiedust: Just got back from our trip last night. Up 34 hrs straight..cant see straight..but wanted to wish you a great big Happy Birthday..hugs..sharon & jm

I'm doing the dance with you, our cruise is paid off too....

Why do I have a funny feeling that it is the least of the costs I am going to incur? I shop when stressed...let's hope for a stress-free vacation!

Thanks for posting June 3 is the day for CC members to book excursions.

Has anyone done the glass buttom at CC? I am thinking of trying to do some new things since we have two stops this time at Castaway Cay.
Also thinking of doing the bikes, has anyone done that? What is there to see from the bikes? A special trail or anything?

Thanks for any help:)

DH did them last time. He enjoyed the ride. There were some paths that he rode. Alot of them had the tall bushes on both sides so it wasn't really that scenic but it was peaceful...or so he said. I stayed at the beach and floated!:thumbsup2

Another thanks for posting the date, I was gonna mark my calendar by counting backwards!!

Good morning fellow cruisers! :wizard:
Cheryl: Belated Happy Birthday!!
Chilly couple days here at the World... only in the 50's... yeah, I know.. that's shorts weather for SOME of you...

I was thinking of doing the bike thing too but wasn't sure if they rented bikes with child seats or trailers for toddlers that don't ride a bike on their own yet. Does anyone know?

I think I forgot to give our cabin number when I gave out our info, we are in 2608:)

Just wondering, how you get 5 people booked into that cabin?

according to the list? your traveling party has 5 in it?

2608 is a cat 9 that only sleeps 4..

Do i have something wrong?

Or you can just tell me to shut up! :lmao:

Peter
