ok I have two questions - that may seem a little dumb - but I am asking them anyway - i made it through the 339 pages of the first bit and about 70 pages of this one - but haven't seen the answer to these.

Last year we were able to pick out our cabin so we knew where we were staying this year since we booked so late - last week - we are a Cat4 GTY - i know that means we are guarenteed a Cat4 - but when will we find out what room we are in - or is that only when we actually get to teh boat...

next - since i volunteered to organized this cabin tour - do we do it on one day at one set time like a progressive dinner or kinda a drop in between X and X on a certain date - - also i thought i would let everyone PM after final payment deadline next week - since there seem to be some changes going on still.... does that seem like a good plan (don't PM me yet....I'll let you know when !!!)

Thanks in advance for all the help...

Tasha, Sounds like a plan to me.

Yep maybe tonight I will get to hear it.

Sounds good. When we did the one on the WB Panama cruise, it was all one afternoon.

So this is my first cruise using the FE and I have NO idea what to put in. Do I put in everyones FE on the list? everyday do I leave something? something for each person in the cabin? I'm sorry if this was addressed already but as you see this thread is kinda long and I really can sit and go back through all 150 pages. Please help. Everyone has been so nice and I don't want to be the person talked about as "can you believe we got ....." Thanks for any help you can provide.

Worry not, we have seen several things, and all are appreciated. I think since there are soooooo many folks on this cruise I would not go overboard, didn't mean it that way, some folks have brought little trinkets from their home town or area, Oriental Trading post is a good source. With luggage restriction etc ... again small is good. My thoughts. Oh soem folks have littel bags of edable thingies, All is KEWL!!!!I am sure other can be more specific.

Hey Bob, How would mint grow in a planter on our back poarch???

Thinking Mojitos

Thinking Mojitos

I don't see why not.
It seems to grow everywhere else.:rotfl2:
I think it just needs a little sun, a little water and a little soil.

Will give it a try,

Would it depend on latitude >>>>>LOL

but added to a mojito it could change attitude. LOL

Scott H----I don't believe the US postal service would let me ship the rum to you (thanks for the generous offer to save me) but you are more than welcome to sample it on the cruise----can we bring drinks to our group on deck meet?

Yes, working at the Archives these past 17 years has been WONDERFUL! Something really useful for us history majors to do:) And, my first job was at a Federal Records Center and I would often describe the stacks as the end scene about storing the Ark from Raiders! Bigger than a football field and 14 shelves high! Don't miss those old wooden rickety ladders! Oops---I hear thunder here in MD----must turn off compter:worried:

...

I think it has been done before:rotfl2:

Now, if we just had some way to make jello......

Scott, we had Cheeseburgers tonight. Comfort food.
