hi everyone... HE IS HOME!!!!
He is very tired, and in lots of pain from traveling, but very happy to see his girlies. I hope he will sleep ok in his own house, he needs a good nights rest. I will keep you updated on his progress, hopefully he will feel like posting in the next few weeks. Goodnight.. Jenn

:cool1: :cool1:
So glad to hear Peter is finally home! Hopefully he'll finally get a good nights rest. You certainly can't sleep through the night in a hospital!

Be nice to Jenn Peter! ;) Take it easy and get better!

Tracy just booked a Cat 6 for the Sept 18 Westbound Repositioning for us!

The price for 14 nights is the same as a 7 night at the end of March:confused3
Now we just have to figure out how to get to Barcelona. Fly into London, then train to Paris, then a train to Barcelona?

After spending 2 hours on the phone with the DVC rep - we managed to book the Barcelona to Dover repo and the first Baltic cruises in 2010. She was great, and managed to get us in a hidden porthole room - our first excursion into cat 10!

Our thought was to fly into London, or Paris if cheaper, the take the train down to Barcelona. The European trains used to be alot of fun - that was a few years ago that I was on them:lmao: , hopefully, they will still be fun!

2 HOURS!!!:faint:

Glad you were able to get through. We would like to try to fly over to England, or Paris when everyone gets through with the Baltic and do DLP... but the flights still look steep. We'll see. At least we have time to plan for a trip to DLP!

Glad to hear Peter is HOME!

Scott, your room looks GREAT! Well worth the effort you put into it!

Congrats....on booking....just for fun I called DCL to see how much the Eastbound Trnasatlantic was for a cat 9....not a bad price $3,989.76 but unfortunately it wouldn't let her do the air add on...it kept giving her a price for airfare of $99,000....I told her I didn't want a private jet!!!! We decided not to book it at this time...we are still considering our options of either just doing WDW or maybe WDW and a caribbean cruise next cruise.....decisions...decisions....decisions.....

We managed to get a category 10 for the Westbound Transatlantic. I suppose this gives me an extra year of planning and saving. We had considered doing our vow renewal on our Western Caribbean cruise next year, but have decided that we rather do it on the Transatlantic.

Hi Lynn..
Pete is doing pretty well. Yesterday he overdid it a bit, climbing the stairs several times and taking a shower, alone, while I was at work :scared1:! So today he is a bit quieter, but he is healing. It will be a long road for him for sure. Great to have him home though, and not be running to the hospital everyday. I got 3 hours of yardwork in yesterday, and a dump run in today. So all is good!! ~~~ Jenn

Tell that boy to take it easy and not overdo it, he doesn't need to be falling and hurting himself even more..........

BTW, Welcome Home Pete..........

Hi Peter and Jenn, We are so glad you are home!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:
Peter you better take it easy and try only one thing a day or else you could get into trouble again... Please take it easy if not for you then for Jenn...:worship:

We booked the Westbound TA for now. Lots going on with DH's work so we are going to have to wait and see what else happens there.

It's finally warmed up and the snow has melted just a little bit up in the mountains.....got go break the kids...

Hi Scott & Lynn,

Dale and I just got back from an estuarine restoration conference so didn't get to post.

We'll be joining you on the Barcelona-Dover repo and the first Baltic; Tracy did all the work while we sat in the conference waiting to hear (it made for a long day!!). :worship: :worship: Even managed to get the same cabin for both cruises.

Now comes the penny saving part, at least it's a while away.

The room looks great, except where's the palm trees and DCL stuff? :confused3 :confused3

Jenn,

Glad to hear that Peter is home and doing well.

Tell him to take it easy (i.e. spend a lot of time on the Disboards :rotfl2: ) and to not make too many demands of you.
