Looks like another great weekend shaping up here.
Sunny and better than seasonal temps.
Should get a few things done outside today.

Scott....sounds like you need a vacation...I know the perfect place!!!!!
Lynn...congrats on your re-retirement!!!!
Peter...congrats on returning to work and being smoke free....sorry to hear you had to cancel your cruise.
Georgie....can't wait to see you on Thursday....make sure you pack your lightest clothes...the temperatures are expected to be in the high 90's all week.
Bob....thought of you the other day while watching the O Canada movie....when the Canada Geese filled the screens!!!!!
Okay....off to the Animal Kingdom.....and to brave the 96 degree temperature today
Hope to check back in before my 24 hours of internet expires....

Morning Kids, woke up to the sound of no wind, so I got my butt out for a windless 5K. Nice sunrise , I made Macadamia, cashew, mango pancakes for breakfast.
Looks like a day of yard work, trimming, fertilizing, getting the sprinklers up and running, patching the brown spots, fertilizing the fruit trees, etc etc etc. did get the motorcycles washed last night. Just noticed one of the plum trees is blooming.
Well better get after it while there is no wind and rain.

Elaine, sounds like you are having a great trip and yes I need a vacation, August is not that far away. But there is a whole bunch of vacation planned for the fall. Thanks for teh pictures, very KEWL!!!
Work travel next week to San Jose.

We're just back from our fun filled day at The Animal Kingdom...despite the heat, we managed to see the most aminals on the Safari that we have ever seen....and the characters were all out....Rafiki, Br'er Rabbit, Pocahontas, Jiminy Cricket, Pooh, Eeyore, and some characters that I have absolutely no idea who they are....and Mom is a character magnet during the parade....she was hugged and kissed by just about every character that passed by us....it made her day....
Mom and I would like to wish all the Dis Mom's a very Happy Mother's Day tomorrow!!!!!!

Bob - we do not need to water now, but we have some bare areas that we want to reseed and let grow for the week we (and the dogs) will be gone,and since we would not be home to see if it was raining or not, we thought we would get the sprinklers going.

Happy Mothers Day, to all you Mothers , brings to mind a Jerry Jeff Walker song,

This is the first house we have had with a sprinkler system and I thought it would be a pain but not that bad. Really glad we got those outdoor chores done yesterday.
Not sure what today will bring have to see what develops.

Hi everyone. Life has been too busy, but today was a good busy with both families... eash separately and then all together, complete with a dessert buffet. YUM!

Also looking forward to seeing everyone in October!!! We will have allof our work projects out of the way by then (fingers crossed)
Oh... Joe did see the new Star Trek movie on Friday. He said the writers played with the time line a bit, but all in all he did like the movie.
