High wind warning for today gust to 75-85, no fun for driving, will stay home this weekend.

Made our flight reservation for this trip, used miles, I even had to transfer miles to Lynn's acct. and she gets a 1st class leg for the red eye from LAX to MCO, what's up with that????? LOL good for her, I will try to upgrade at the airport. And her ticket was even 3000 miles less than mine, go figure. I will have her shuttle drinks back to me, LOL....

Will arrive at MCO on sept 1 at 0600. Will see ya at the port.

We just got back from WDW this morning (arrived at home at 3 am)...after a 9 hour flight delay. Evidently, Frontier does not have an excess of oil tank caps in their inventory. We had to wait for one to be flown out of Kansas City to MCO...after the snow cleared in Kansas City, of course. Nine extra hours at MCO with a 6 month old, not enough formula for a 9 hour delay and grumpy gate attendants....not a good start to the holiday season. It is even more frustrating when all the flights to Denver scheduled after you are leaving on time, as you sit and wait for...an oil cap.

BUT, a great note, I got to meet Elaine and her lovely mother! It is always great to meet DIS folks, especially the super fun ones!!!! I am so looking foward to meeting you guys in person and seeing Tracy, Bill, Peter and Jenn again. It sounds like you are all a good, rowdy bunch. We are trying to decide if we are going to hit WDW before or after the cruise. Decisions, deciscions....

Warm and rainy here today. I did venture out for a little bit. Had to get the produce for Christmas dinner.

Son, his spouse and our three grandaughters (4, 2 and 4months) are on their way. Should be here within the hour so my house is about to get very busy, lol.

We will be the ones needing the sleep lol, as we will have been up at 0330 on 9/31 doing the DL 1/2, then waiting at LAX fro the 10:55 fight, trying to sleep on the plane, so we will be the ones standing curbside, or shoudl I say in a huddeled mass, NAW!!!! I'll be too excited but lack of sleep may hit me later that night.


Didn't make the zoo highwinds made for bad travel. Worked on the basement.
