Just got off the phone with DCL and have added our sons Ilya (20) and Kyle (21) to the reservation. They are so excited becaue they have not been on a cruise with us since the EB Panama Canal in 2005. It will be great to have everyone on this one.

Went Christmas shopping. Got these neat solar powered snowmen.

Saw a BIG inflatable santa and the reindeer on a cloud. $$$$$

Need to get serious about the shopping......only 28 days to go.:lmao:

I just love those snowmen. Solar powered decorations are great. No messy cord situations and no bill!

DEEP FRIED MAC & CHEESE:thumbsup2 DEADLY!
I don't think that is on the menu at Palo!

RE: Atlantis: Yes Peter I heard that too, but I also heard they only give(sell) a limited 3 of day passes. We have never been and the kids are very interested in the water park, I figure we probably would not go there on a vacation, so a day trip will be fine.

We don't need a room, but to pay for a day pass for 5 or even Disney's Aquaventure excursion for 5 is way more than getting a room where the use of all facilities, including the water parks and the Dig. The cost of a room at Comfort Suites is $239. I don't recall what the price for the excursion is, but I know it was not worth it compared to just booking a room. I doubt we will even go to the room!

Just found the price of the Aquaventure excursion thru DCL:
adult $155 per person. (an adult being 10 and older)
a child ages 3-9 cost $105. So for a room at $239 for 4. we are better off. We still have to pay for 1 more, so that is why I was wondering if anyone else was going to do this excursion, but wanted to book a room instead and we could share the cost.

One of mine too. Mom always made hers with Velveeta.

"watching" the Packers tonight on the internet. Don't have the NFL channel.

Yep, with velveeta..was there any other way..lol.

I have been wanting to try Bobby Flay's four cheese mac and cheese. It sounds great.

We watched the Packers, they were a bit of a mess. They really needed Woodson playing.

Thanks Bob for the help with "seeing" the game. We listened on the radio too. Not pretty :sad2:

Got a light dusting of snow this morning. Expecting a wintry mix over the weekend

Cheryl, in follow up to our conversation, Minnie has been taken care of. The peanut butter did the trick :thumbsup2 I named her Minnie since her future would not be long :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Kid (MickeyJoshNut)
saw where macaroni and cheese is cool again.
http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/food/2007-11-26-mac-and-cheese_N.htm

Again, lol, always been cool with me. One of my favorites..lol.

Velveeta....I've never had mac & cheese made with Velveeta (actually I'm not sure if we have Velvetta here in Canada).....Mom makes hers with good old Cracker Barrel (the brand not the restaurant) Old cheese.....

my mouth is watering just thinking about my Mom's mac & cheese....it's an old family recipe....that has been passed down the generations....

Where did you get the solor powered snowmen? I think I saw them in the Christmas Tree Shop.

We got ours at Sam's Club. They aren't exactly like the picture.
The light is not real brite. Kind of a blue glow.
Still like them.:thumbsup2

Hey to all! Just dropping in to say "Hi!" :wave2: I can only concentrate on one vacation at a time:upsidedow , but as soon as this next WDW trip is in the bag, I'll be more active over here! (Although I would love to sneak in a DLR trip this spring!) I hope you all have a Magical Christmas and Holiday season!

Does anyone know where I can get an "authentic" Nightmare Before Christmas" DVD?????

My Mom and I have recently reunited with my niece (long story) and found out that her Mom (brother's ex) kicked her out of the house and destroyed all her belongings including her favourite movie of all time Nightmare Before Christmas.....my Mom and I thought it would be easy to replace this movie but we are finding it very difficult. We have tried every video retailer and found out that the movie is "in the vaults" and a re-release date is unknown because there is a 3D version of the movie currently in theatres. I tried Ebay and either the prices are sky high or the movies aren't "authentic" but copies. It would have been so much easier if I had this movie in my collection but I always thought the movie was "strange" and just never purchased it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, my passport arrived today and my son's didn't. Not a good sign. They questioned my custody papers and claimed that they need a raised seal on them like a birth certificate when I filed. I filed anyway with my signed judge's order from Family Court. I don't see the raised seal requirement on the state dept website (except for birth certificates). I am so bummed.

Deadbeat dad and can't even take the poor boy on a cruise...

:headache:

Try video stores. Sometimes they sell previously viewed movies. There's also eBay. Good luck.:goodvibes
