I was unaware we were taking about melons

:rotfl:

No salt here

I know, doesn't it make it BETTER when you put salt on it. MMMM!! ::yes:: Now I want some! Is it in season yet??

No salt on mine, thanks! But my grandfather loves salt on his.

I have never heard of anyone putting salt on watermelon before. Hmm.

Karen

Speaking of naapkins....i usually go through three or four on a good piece of watermelon.

No salt for me, though I know many who do!

Cut a hole in it, fill it up with your choice of alcohol. Chill for several hours, turning the melon every so often to get that good soak in. Cut, eat, :faint:

Ditto on kilds party~~ I like working out but when I do drink, I usually need couple of days to recoop!!! As for salt on watermelon, hell yeah, I put salt in watermelon puckers!

I like salt on my watermelon and pepper on my cantaloupe::yes::

No salt on anything I eat except scrambled eggs and baked/mashed potatoes. But ... I love, love, love watermelon! It's one of my favorite fruits! ::yes::

Bernie! Save a tree! Use your sleeve! Or in the heat of the summer, an arm will do!

When and where?

DH thinks watermelon without salt is disgusting. With salt he loves it! I eat my melon salt-free, and I don't put salt on the kids' melon even though DH thinks I should!

Oh yes, pepper on cantaloupe..isn't it yummy? To me, salt on watermelon makes it sweeter, but I am not really sure WHAT pepper on cantaloupe does-other than make it yummy!::yes::

My DH is the same way!! I like salt more than he does, but he always salts his watermelon and I never do.

I've never heard of salt on water melon! I don't use salt on Corn on teh cob either. I rarely use butter on it, especially if it's sweet!
