Speaking of Uncommon Names...

I was in Aldi's today and the cashier's name was VERGEN. I truly felt for her. But, I would have changed my name, or at least changed it into a nickname, maybe Vergie?

I went to church for many years with a lady named Vergie. I am not sure if that was her given name or not. she was probably born somewhere between 1910-1920. Sounds like a lot of the old names in my grandparents' families.

At work today, I processed paperwork for "Virgian" and I kept rechecking everything looking for a typo, then wondering how to pronounce it

I used to work with a Virgie. I alwasy assumed it was a nickname for Virginia.
