My name is Arden ... Ive met two others in my lifetime.

My name is Kristina (obviously) and while I don't know anyone that spells it the way I do, there were 2 other Christinas in my class and my BFFs name is Christina. There were TONS of Ashleys and Jessicas in my class, 7 Jessicas and 6 Ashleys. Lots of Josh and Johns too

Thanks! My secret is persistence. It's taken me a long time to lose the weight, with a few reversals, but I just keep going. I don't follow a specific diet. I focus on portion control, especially with the junk. Are you trying to lose now?

I need to lose about 25lbs, but I haven't really done anything. I have had a rough year and suffer from depression. Unfortunately, my drug of choice is anything sweet. And I don't exercise. I've been out of work since April. I weigh more now than I did when I was 9 months pregnant.

I think I understand. I put on weight after a bad relationship breakup and got to my heaviest ever, though even before that I was letting the pounds creep on to me.

PS- You should definitely exercise. Even walking helps. I jog and do pushups and crunches.

I really do need to start getting some exercise. If the weather was good, I could walk up and down our road. I guess I'm making excuses, but we are supposed to get snow tonight. I wish I could at least switch from sweets to fruit.

I thought the same thing! I'm an Amy Growing up I was never the only Amy. From 3rd grade on I was always Amy M. (my last inital, well at the time at least) grade school, high school, jobs, and even up to the last job I had which was last year. My supervisor's name was Amy! Oh well. Now that I'm a SAHM I'm finally the only Amy where I am

My name is Faith. It would appear to be rather unusual but I have a sister in law named Faith (married to my husband's brother). Even worse, we have the same middle initial, in addition to both having the same married last name.

And Amy, way to go on meeting your goal. I've been watching from the beginning. I'm proud of you for sticking with it. The first 20 pounds are so easy but it takes courage and determination to go past that.

Thanks. The first twenty were the easiest, they were the fat that I had recently acquired. The older fat was harder to get off.

I was born in 1983. It's not that it's an unusual name, but I've seen more Amys on this board than I have irl.

I'm a Kate. Just Kate - not short for anything. There are usually a handul of Kate's around but almost all are short for something. I have only met 1 other person who is just a Kate like me.
