Speaking of Cruise Swap Round # 2

How is it coming along ladies ? I am still in the planning stages. I have sketched out what I want to do, but it will require a few sizzix purchases. I also purchased some qk shapes that arrived yesterday. Now I need to decide on color and hit the store to pick out paper and enhancements. So I hope you all like the finished product.

I have my stuff and am ready to go. I was going to do formal,but didnt like the way my sample came out, so I switched to an excursion/beach day/shopping type theme that I like much better.

Mine are done, wrapped -- just have to put my label on each piece so you know where it came from! And then pop it into the box and mail.

hello all!

yesterday i finished my elements for the scavenger hunt so now i am ready to get rolling on the cruise swap!

i have created my "prototype" and went shopping - so im ready to start cutting!

but I think I have come up with something I like. Now I have to go shopping! That will have to wait until payday on Friday. One question.... Do the embellished squares really need to be square? Can I make them round? I was thinking about round for my sail-away embellished squares. Let me know what you think.

Design for my shaker box is complete - about half of the elements have been punched - will be punching the rest next week then assembling them over the weekend. Journal boxes will follow - those don't take as long as the shaker boxes so I am doing the difficult one first. I am pleased with the way the shakerbox design came out. Hope everyone else likes it.

I'm done with my first set of mats and working on my second now. Had to take some time off for my Disney trip. Then came home to find I needed more supplies...and of course, work gets in the way. But after tonight's shift, I'll be home for three days and can't wait to continue working on my swap items!

Mine have been packaged and ready to send for a few weeks...just haven't managed to get to the post office with 4 kids in tow! I think it's time for a sitter!
