Speaking of clothes, does anyone NOT like capris?

I love capris!

A lot of the time it's too hot here for long pants, but shorts aren't dressy enough for the occasion - capris are perfect. They do flatter me, so I wear them.

I'm 5'2" and I wear capris to work nearly every day in the summer. I just have them altered to hit at my calves instead of my ankles. I like them because they don't try to sneak in under my heels when I walk in my high-heeled sandals like my pants do. ;)

I like bermuda shorts--but I am very particular about the length. I like them to hit right above the knee. I don't like these new bermudas that hit in the middle of the kneecap or below. Those look like sawed-off pedal-pushers to me. :teeth:

I do like capris, but mainly because I have ugly, knobby knees and the capris hide them.

I quoted myself because I got a laugh at my expense because I was glad that the tag fairy was not reading this thread and tagging me over this post. :rotfl2:

I do have a question about shoes that should be worn with capris. Usually I wear flip flops or sandals, but there are times that those are not really appropriate, at least the ones that I have. So for those of you who wear them to work, what shoes do you wear? I volunteer in my son's classroom and would like to wear capris, but don't want to wear sandals unless the weather is real hot.

I'd love a pair of capris but they all come to my ankles. It's shorts for me.

Me too. Bought ankle length pants at Eddie Bauer last year and I wear them as pants :)

I have one pair of capris that I like. I think I bought them at Walmart (shudders!) for 5 bucks!!
I just can't get them to fit right.

I like Capri's. I do not like the "koolats" (sp?) that are back in style. I dont' care if they are could goucho pants or whatever.

they make my but look huge and my thighs look bigger than they already are--no way am I trying on a pair.

I don't like them. I'm more of a shorts person.

Since I don't wear shorts, capri are my choice for Spring/Summer. I think its very hard to pull off looking good in shorts past a certain age, so this is my safe bet!

I dislike capris. I am short. 4'10". If I can ever find any true petites, they make me look shorter and fatter. I don't need any help in that category. I did buy a pair of "capri" work-out pants today. They come to my ankles. I don't have to hem them. :rotfl2:

I do not like short shorts. I like shorts to hit right above my knee.

I didn't read all the replies, but I personally love capris on other people, but hate them for myself. I have tried them but never wear them more than once. It is a waste for me to buy them.

All the stores seem to have nothing else, except short shorts, which aren't really getting it either. I hate spring/summer shopping for that reason alone. It is so hard to find something that isn't made for either my daughter or my mother.

I don;t like capris but I do like cropped pants OK.

I like cropped pants too. I just bought a couple of pairs at Old Navy tonight. They say "capris" on them, but they fit like cropped pants. I think of Capris as hitting mid calf and IMO those make your legs look wider.

I don't wear shorts (except at WDW) and I think that short shorts look trashy. I noticed that bermuda shorts are back in. I don't like those at all. They only look good on people with pencil legs since they are so slim.

I don't love them.

I bought a couple of pairs last year and my friends say they look good (and these are people who have told me when I look bad, so I trust them!), but I still feel like they make my legs look "dumpy".

I've seen people wear certain capris with flats but I don't think it's a look that everyone could pull off.

Capris look so cute to me on some people and so strange on others. :confused3
