Spam email patterns

What's the latest pattern you're seeing in the spam emails you recieve?

I'm getting a lot of subject lines with every single word purposely misspelled and newer this week a LOT of subject lines with one single digit, nothing but the digit.

Anyone else getting either of these types?

For the past few months I've been getting tons of "invitations to join a Yahoo Group" from unknown individuals. I mean tons. They've all be sent to my junk folder, but I wonder what's up with this?

lots of them in russian/cyrillic alphabet, even complained to my email provider about it, they claim they'll check into it. I don't see why they can't just filter out anything that isn't in regular western text

Lately I've seen quite a few job referrals. Do they know my company is under bankruptcy protection? Of course I was making sure that my resume on Hot Jobs was up-to-date. I'm sure that triggered it for my home account, and at work it's probably just preying on the domain name.

Also, after making purchases on ebay using BIN and paying with PayPal, I almost instantly get bogus messages to update my account.

Other than that I don't see too much spam.

I'm getting those, too. What are they about? I'm afraid to join to see what it is about. Only thing I can figure is that it is another way to confirm your email is valid.

I see a lot that start or with re: as if they were responding to an email of mine.
