Spam email from "friends"?

I hate spam email! Especially the kind that is supposed to come from your friend. You know the kind that has a from name that's very common -- like David or Mike so you probably know someone with that name.

Or the ones with the misleading subject line.

I laugh because you can tell by the header that it's junk, but I am still compelled to open it.

Anyone else?

Even with all the new safeguards, spam is around like the plague. The first thing I do when I check my mail is delete all the spam. I also look over what seems to be from "friends" and they, too, get deleted if I can't recognize them as from someone I know. Every so often I will check out one that looks like it might be from someone I know, but don't quite recognize the e-mail address.
