Spam Email about Cheer Squad

Did anyone else get an email with subject 'Confirmation of Cheer Sqaud' (sic)?

It *appears* to have come from disney.com, but I don't think it did as I didn't sign-up for Cheer Squad (or Sqaud)

Be on the lookout and add the sender to your blocked list.

I would let rundisney know.

Because, well, from their track record, I wouldn't be surprised at all to have such a misspelling coming from them. No one there seems to know how to use spellcheck.

Even if you didn't pay for any of the levels of Cheer Squad, did you sign up for the free Bronze level? (did that for DH and he got a few emails, one from active, one from disney I think)

Either way, spam or not, let rundisney know.

I got that exact same email about joining a cheer squad from someone named Tammy, who has an @disney.com email (supposedly). There was nothing in the message. Struck me as span but not sure...hmmmm

I got the same thing. No links or attachments. I wonder if someone got hacked? Mine said 1 of 5 and my email says it failed fraud detection.

I got it too and knew it was fake pretty quickly..."Cheer" and not "ChEAR"???

I'd be interested in figuring out where it came from. Did those of you who got it already have that email address used for RunDisney? Or was it somewhere in Disney itself that the emails were spammed from?

I got it too. My email said it was unsafe & I never signed up for a cheer thing, so deleted it - spam I'm pretty sure. Must be someone got a hold of some emails via rundisney's registrations.

I got a follow up email from runDisney after contacting them:

Good to know I wasn't the only that got email. Thought maybe my family had signed up for the ChEAR squad but when it only said "1 of 5" and nothing else I knew something was off.
