Wow the USA has beaten Spain 2-0 at soccer to reach the final of the confederation cup. Spain were unbeaten in 35 games, european champions and probably the best team in the world

That was awesome. I am thrilled that I decided to work from home today and was able to catch the game.

So Brazil moves up to number 1 (so long as they beat SA tomorrow). How far down the rankings does Spain slip? And what will the Spanish press have to say about this?

The only negative in all of this is that Michael Bradley was harshly red carded and will miss the final. He has been a real key player for us in the last couple of games.

I'm not happy. I'm Spanish, born and raised in the US, and I was rooting for Spain. I'm not happy at all.

That said, it was an amazing feat for the US.
