Just seen the above will be closed for refurbishment, no reopening date as yet, only later in the year. Hope it’s not too long. Going in September, already be missing a few things.

We are going end of October, first week of November and I don't plan on it being open by then. Multi-month refurb (routine) so at least August/September/October. I'd be on a December opening.

We are bummed too, but hey, Test Track is back and I watched a ride preview that looks great!

It's about time that Space Ship Earth was brought back to what it once was. I hope they make it just as good as it was when it was new with no cutting corners.

Spaceship Earth is closing for refurbishment August 25, 2025. No re-opening date has been announced.

It’s possible that they won’t have an idea of how long it will take until they get in there and see everything that needs to be fixed. SSE is one of my favorite attractions and it can really use some TLC right now.

I would think that they could do this between park close and park open the next day. It would be poor management to go into a rehab without first knowing what needs to be done.

Well Pooh! This is my favorite ride at Epcot and we arrive in 8/25. I wholeheartedly agree it needs a lot of TLC. Disappointing the family were taking for the first time won’t be able to experience the “giant golf ball” ride!

It’s hard to tell. It does say it is supposed to reopen in 2025 but no indication of an actual reopening date.

I hope (but don’t expect) it to be open by mid-October. I’m taking family who have never been to Disney and Spaceship Earth was one of the rides that everyone can do and enjoy…unlike Test Track.

FWIW, I think Little Mermaid will be reopened by September. The anounced closure for it is only one week

Yes, Mermaid only closes July 21-26. I checked because we'll be there around that time.

Noooooo! Being disappointed is an understatement. I wish if they were going to close for any extended time, they would REALLY work on it. It's in serious need of an update in addition to the ride vehicle issues. Is that creepy newspaper boy still there? Disney, please remove him or fix him! I hope, at least they will still have the light shows.
