I think we need to petition to have Alan Rickman's Snape or Leonard Nimoy's Spock as the next narrators of Spaceship Earth.

I love the Rickman idea.

Nimoy would be cool, but only if he did it in Vulcan.

When my sister and I were there last year, we were riding SSE near closing, and they let us reride 4 times in a row. Even with slowing the walkway, it's hard for her to get in and out with crutches, there was nobody else riding, and her ECV was charging right outside, so we kept asking if we could stay on and they just waved us through. We chose different languages each time, and it was a blast. (We both speak French and a little German.)

We think that as long as you can choose different audio, the Jeremy Irons and Walter Cronkite scripts should be two of the options! But that'll probably never happen, because a current sponsor isn't likely to want a script greenlighted by the last one.

The scene where you ascend into the stars and see the Earth is even more awe-inspiring when you're all alone in your little ride car. But you do notice the creaking and grinding of the mechanism more! I kept wishing for a giant can of WD-40.

I just love that ride! Do wish they had the Walter Cronkite speech instead. Even Patrick Stewart would be good! But Morgan freeman would be great!
