Space Travel...would you go? (inspired by Truth's Cassini thread)

If I had the opportunity to travel to the stars and planets, I'd go in a heart beat. I've always dreamed of it. Just imagine the things you could see and experience....

Absolutely! Always wanted to be an astronaut. Probably a good thing I didn't go that direction, though, as I was sick as a dog for hours after riding Mission:Space. Loved liftoff, couldn't take the sling-shot around the moon.

A. Travel to the Stars or rather the planets orbiting them is not ever going to happen but in a Star Trek or Star Wars type of fantasy world of warp drives and making kessel runs in parsecs, sure why not.

B. Besides the danger are you aware of the amount of youe life time you are devoting to such a project ?

is it safe to assume you have got your name down on the waiting list to go into space on the SpaceShipOne ? Better hurry, it's gonna fill up fast when it drops to ten grand a flight.

My daughter (6) wants to be an astronaut and wants to go to Mars... but only if I go with her I told her if she gets her ticket lined up, I'll be there.

I hope that the latest rover mission went well to Saturn? They were trying to get really great pictures of the rings!

I used to think I would until I went on Mission Space and just about tossed my cookies. If I can't do Mission Space, something tells me I can't do the real thing.
