Space suit is out?

Just looked at Star Traders. It's not there. I didn't see it anywhere else either.

No it is not out. A staff member told me yesterday that the suit will never be released again. But who knows really, they never tell the truth. Anyways, I hope they keep it unreleased forever.

Yeah me too. Although part of me wishes they would release it so I could get one for my youngest son, but the other part of me did way too much trading to get mine. lol. In the end I got it for a good deal, but before that I did a lot of trading for different parts, gave up and traded my parts away, then wound up getting it back. lol.

correction: that color space suit won't be out again. They are however supposed to release different color space suits eventually. Just wait closer to Tomorrowlands release.

I don't want to sound mean, but WHY would you want that???? So the very few who got it the time it was offered are the only ones who have it?

I do not mean to offend you but...How selfish is that. I was playing VMK at the time but we only had a few accounts mine and DS we have a dial up connection and can not generate the high credit counts that people with cable connections can. And at that time I did not know about MULES...so we could barely scrape together enough credits to get the full suit for my DS. I did not get one. Although it is not a to die for thing for me I am sure that there are alot of new VMKers and some old that would love to have this suit and even if they could trade for it there is just not that many to go around.

I understand about keeping things rare but too rare is just mean. JMHO.

DarthJordan and all those who want other things that have only been released once and for what ever reason you did not get them I hope you get another chance.

I have to agree. I was out of the country for large part of the summer in an area with no internet and was unable to get the space suit. It was the one costume that I wanted above all others. I have stopped trying to trade for one because I don't have any of the other rare items either. New players and the younger players are at an even bigger disadvantage than me so I feel worse for them.

I really do hope they release another color but until then I will *sigh* and dream of one day being a true Space Indy an Princess. LOL

I also have to agree. Since I was not able to register early on, I was not around for all of those "rare" items. My registration finally went through a little over a month ago so I missed so many items.

My two kids were able to register but often had trouble with lost connections, crashing, etc. Often they could not log in. When the Space suit was available they were not able to log in at all. Same with Sorcerer hat. So none of us have the Sorcerer Hat or Space Suit.

I don't want them to be in a permanant collection, but it would be nice to have a few releases during events such as this past weekend. Just a though.

Well said Maltoo! My 5 year old son who plays with me was in tears one day because I couldn't get him the suit. And its impossible to trade because no one I have met is ever willing to!
I am always excited to see all of the players with the new outfits when they come out. Its all part of the fun of playing, not hogging it all to yourself!

It's great to be the envy of all the kingdom, however there really is no point to be greedy or selfish about it. Almost everything at VMK is free. Except for those cards/codes where you have to purchase something in a real park to get that code. It would be great to have more colors released of the space suit as they did the dress. I can truly understand wanted to keep a one of kind for yourself because it's cool. It's a different story to keep it just to rub in other's faces.

I agree with Maltoo. I was not able to get the space suit and I was on for about an hour all weekend because I was away. I think it's really mean someone would actually hope that people will not be able to get something they want really badly.

I have to agree with Maltoo on this one, too. Though I first signed up for VMK on day one, I wasn't able to get on it for a couple of months (wound up downloaded a different browser). The weekend I started playing was the weekend they had the Socerer Mickey hat onsale. I saw it in the Emporium, but because I was a newbie, I didn't realize it was only onsale for a limited so I didn't buy it because I needed more credits and didn't want to spend them all on that one item.

Now, I try to buy extras of things if I have the credits so that I can gift them to new players. When I do that, I'm not doing it for more stuff. I do it to put a smile on someone's face.

That what happens is that VMK will cycle the items so that things come out every few months. Still keep them rare but also encourage guests to keep playing. I would like to see the furniture colors cycled that way also.

I hope so, I want the space suit and the gold dress; and I have no hope at all of getting any rare Quest stuff. It will be years before we get to Disney World again.

The funny thing is for the kids, the color will never matter. This is the only thing my DD really wants and the one thing I've not been able to get for her lol.

I agree with Maltoo and Jellyrolls, The first celebration I was luckily able to obtain the princess dress, but Didn't realize that the sorcerer hat would be limited. It was hard enough at that time to get enough credits for the princess outfit. Especially since it was the first event like that we didn't know better.

I also buy extra things (if i can) and help out others so if u need something after an event ask me if i have extras I will give...
