Space Shuttle Names

Someone at work asked about the names of the space shuttle fleet. I found a website in Japan that lists the names in order of when the shuttles were placed into service. Since I took the time to find the info, I thought that I would post it here.

Columbia (April 12, 1981 ~ February 1, 2003)
Challenger (April 4, 1983 ~ January 28, 1986)
Discovery (August 30, 1984 ~)
Atlantis (October 3, 1985 ~)
Endeavor (May 7, 1992 ~)

John, don't forget the test shuttle Enterprise, which never saw space, only testing on earth.

True. The Enterprise was never space-worthy, so I suppose that's why it's not on the list.
