I know that I have already made a thread about SP awhile ago, but since our trip is getting closer (19 days!), I am getting nervous.
I don't mind roller coasters. I can go on EE, BTMR, GB, and everything, but this is my first roller coaster in the dark.
So I have a few questions.

1. Which line for Space Mountain do you like better?
2. What seat do you like the best?
3. What is the highest drop?
4. Is it like Thunder Mountain?
5. What is the speed like?
6. Can you feel the drops coming up?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't been on Space Mountain.
The line was an hour and a half and we wanted to leave.

I went on RnR though and it's in the dark.
It wasn't bad at all and I loved it.

I want to go on Space Mountain so bad.

For Disneyland... Here are my answers.

1. There is only one line.
2. I like the very back.
3. The highest drop has to be some 3 foot drop near the end. its just a little dip.
4. Yes, similar. WDW's track layout of SM is almost identical to Disneyland's Matterhorn.
5. I believe its 25 miles per hour, but it feels like 50 because the air conditioner is blowing in your face at high speeds.
6. Some you can, some you can't.

The left on is the best but they usually put you on the right side.:goodvibes I usually sit in the middle of the car because it is not as bad.:) i would not sit in the back, it could ruff. I will warn you that the ride is a little jurky but over all it is a good ride and it isn't that long.:thumbsup2

1. Which line for Space Mountain do you like better? LEFT.
2. What seat do you like the best? First.
3. What is the highest drop? I can't remember.
4. Is it like Thunder Mountain? It has more turns than BTMRR.
5. What is the speed like? SM actually is really slow. The illusion of speed comes from the fact that you have no idea what you're seeing.
6. Can you feel the drops coming up? If you sit in the first seat, you can actually see the tracks if you look closely.

its a little rough. no rougher than btmrr. But it looks like the scaffolding will take your head off. It goes fast. I love this ride, and I highly suggest it.

There are no really high drops. For your first time, I'd say middle seat. Oh yea: there is one climb that makes it look like a really big drop, but you drop like 2 feet and then turn so it is not big like it looks on the climb. It is so much fun and not scary at all.

Its a bit more rough than BTMR. The drops are small and unexpected. Its fun though.

Last year we went on it.
My dad got hit in the face by something.
His nose started to bleed.

It is nothing, don't worry. For taller people it could hurt your neck because it is a little rough. Im 4 '10 an it didnt hurt :)

1. Which line for Space Mountain do you like better? left
2. What seat do you like the best? as far back as i can get usually 5
3. What is the highest drop? the last one
4. Is it like Thunder Mountain? no not really it doesnt climb like it.. infact u only do 1 climb
5. What is the speed like? 30-35 mph... not bad but since it is in the darks it seems faster
6. Can you feel the drops coming up? naaaaaa i've been on SM more times than anyother ride in MK ( except HM) Epcot, MGM, and Animal and i still have still havent memorized the ride... and i have for them all even everest!

u'll be fine and u will like it

So you've never been on Space Mountain? Well, im guessing you're going to WDW, so if WDW SM is anything like DLR SM, then at first, you'll be kinda nervous, but when the ride starts, you'll still feel kinda nervous, but then when the ride speeds up, it will feel so cool. All I can say is that if this is you first ride on it, then hold on tight, and close your eyes. Good luck! Don't Forget to smile! ( Do they have the camera in WDW SM? )

1. Which line for Space Mountain do you like better?
*Does it really matter? They both seem the same to me*
2. What seat do you like the best?
*Front*
3. What is the highest drop?
*IDK*
4. Is it like Thunder Mountain?
*10000000x better*
5. What is the speed like?
*Like you're driving on the express way with the windows rolled down*
6. Can you feel the drops coming up?
*Not really but you can kind of see them*

1. Left
2. Front
3. IDK
4. Alot better
5. Its acctually pretty slow its just w/ the lights turned off it makes you feel like you are going alot faster
6. Yes you can

1. Which line for Space Mountain do you like better? I don't know. I think I've only ever been on the left side.
2. What seat do you like the best? I refuse to sit in the very front or very back because I'm a baby and need people surrounding me on coasters.
3. What is the highest drop? Not high I guess.
4. Is it like Thunder Mountain? Kinda. It has a lot more sharper turns though.
5. What is the speed like? Not so fast I guess.
6. Can you feel the drops coming up? Not really.

I'm a big baby when it comes to rollercoasters. I hated EE. If you can do that, you can do SM. Just don't do it on a full stomach...I went on it 3 times this past trip, once right after eating at Whispering Canyon. I drank 1.5 Caramel Milkshakes there and didn't feel so well after going on SM. lol

1. Which line for Space Mountain do you like better? I like them both for different reasons. The left side line seems to move faster as most people naturally go to the right.
2. What seat do you like the best? One of the back seats, more leg room.
3. What is the highest drop? The last one it's the only one that gives you that free fall feeling in your stomache.
4. Is it like Thunder Mountain? A little bit. Its got the whole up and down bumps, but not nearly as many as BTMRR. Space Mountain has a more roller coaster feel, by far a better ride.
5. What is the speed like? It's really not bad. It's just enough to make the ride perfect, but not very fast at all.
6. Can you feel the drops coming up? After you ride it a few times you will know the general area of the drop, but I still don't know exactly when it is coming.

been on, i think it was the right i was on, yes, it was the best ride i have ever been on, i didnt like the lines, (thats why theres FastPasses;) ) even better at night, the best drop would be the first one after the chain lift.
