Space Mountain Question

We Are Planning A Family Trip To DISNEY WORLD In October And I Was Wondering If Space Mountain Goes Backward? It Looks Like It On The Site, And My 9 Yr Old Would Like To Know Before We Get There.

It’s been a year since I went to WDW, but it didn’t go backwards then, and I'm pretty sure it still doesn’t, it can’t with the way the track was made.

The only ride in Disney that goes backwards is Expedition Everest. Your 9 year old will have fun. It goes 40 mph and is dark but there are no sudden drops or anything like that. Think BTMR except without the western theme.

It does not at any point go backwards at all!
