Space Mountain Closed Nov 1st to Nov 15th

UPDATE the dates have been found to actually be 11-1-15 to 11-15-15 for the refurbishment.
I have changed the title to avoid further panic.




I saw this on the Closed Refurb List 11/01/15 - 01/15/15 - Space Mountain.

Is this true? What are they doing during the 2.5 months?

I know they need to remove Ghost Galaxy theme. That only take a week or so.

The official DL site shows SM closed 11/1/15 to 11/15/15. I thought they were going to place the Hyperspace Mountain overlay? Perhaps the wdwinfo info was a typo?? (I.e. Was supposed to show 11/15 but got typed as 1/15?)

That's a relief! I almost had a miniature heart attack; Space Mountain is my favorite ride the park, and January 15th is the day AFTER I go home

This is an interactive map. First, set the date in the upper right hand corner. I randomly chose 11/5/15. Then I zoom in to Space Mountain. The marker is greyed out. Attractions that are available that day will have a blue marker instead. Click on the grey marker. And you'll see the height restrictions, description of the ride, and a note stating that "Closed for refurbishment Nov. 1, 2015 to Nov. 15, 2015."
