Space for a work video call at / near Universal?

Hello!
We are going to Universal this August; the trip is planned, but now my wife got an offer to teach a class that she wants to take. She can teach on zoom, and we would take it from a hotel room, but her first 2 classes are at 12:30-1:30 on the days we check in and check out of Hard Rock Hotel, so I'm assuming we won't have our room yet / already 🤷‍♂️
So basically, she needs a place to have an hour-long reasonably uninterrupted work video call...

Would be very grateful for any ideas - is there a co-working space she could use? A local library? A space at HRH? A space at CityWalk / in the park? I'm sure we are not the first ones to deal with something like that!

HRH has a business center, I’ve never used that one, but have used business centers at similar hotels for calls and online meetings and it worked well for me. I would suggest calling the hotel and asking about access. Some have a charge.

Depending on your arrival day, your room might be ready early. When we stayed at HRH in March, our room was ready when we arrived at 9:30 a.m. We had indicated our estimated arrival time on our reservation. You could also request late check-out for a fee. They're usually pretty good at allowing it as long as it's they aren't having a lot of check-ins that day.

First thing i would do is call the Hard Rock and explain your dilemma. They may be able to get you in early/late for free or maybe a small additional fee. After that, i would check out the resort pass website for the Orlando area. Lots of the resorts offer day passes to the pools and some have the option to book a day only room. Last time i looked some were in the $50ish range, but i have not looked recently.

Thank you! I did call HRH and spoke to them. Their response was to show up on the check-in day and hope that they have a room early, and then hope for the same for the check-out day. And they have a business center area.

I proceeded to call PB (who are less expensive for the 2 nights we are there), and they were more convincing - though they said more or less the same thing, their business center is larger, and their lounge room is MUCH larger and they have tables in the hallways that are quiet. I also felt like they are going to try to help me in this case, whereas HRH felt much more indifferent.

Will check on the resort pass website, thank you!!!

Yeah, the business center at the HRH was quite small and cramped, I wouldn't want to use it for a Zoom class. This was a few years ago and I don't know if the refurb of the Velvet Bar changed the square footage, as it's next door. Plus it's close to the front desk with people arriving and leaving all the time, and there's music playing everywhere. There's no guarantee someone might not come in to use the printer as well. I'd try elsewhere.
