Space Coast 1/2 or Full marathon. Has anyone run this?

Just curious to see if anyone has run this race?

I am in search of races to use as long training runs for the 1/2 in January. I'd like to do the Run to Victory one in NC the following week, but if gas prices continue to increase this would be more doable.

Looks interesting!! Not too far from Clermont, I really like the medal. I'll have to keep this on the back burner.

Let's see it is a local race for us (20 miles away or so) but alas I can't say that I have done it. Maybe one day...it has been at the wrong time training wise in the past.

However, last year it was under new management so to speak. The local running store was in charge and definately took it up a notch. Everything I heard and read around here was positive. It definately has a cool looking astronaut medal and is one that is on my list to do.

We have a few friends that have done it and said it is nice and flat. It generally isn't too hot and the view is nice in places. It is basically an out and back to the north for the half. The full follows the same course as the half and then continues south for an out and back till the finish.

This looks like an interesting one. I heard about it last year but of course wasn't up to half marathon status last year. I already have a half planned for November in Boca Raton (its a lot closer to home - 1 town south) and then I have the full in January so I won't be looking into this race this year. Maybe next year - since that astronaut medal does look cool!!!
