Hi Everyone,

Quick question...If we were to do the space center...What do you suggest?

Before the cruise or after?

1 day or 2? (keep in mind DS will be 6)

Did you use a hotel package for this?

TIA!

Before I expect, it's going to be awesome, but not as awesome as the cruise. I would go first.

Either works fine. It mostly depends on how your schedule works out in regards to when you have the extra days available, taking into account work, school, and flight schedules. If I had to pick one, I'd say go before your cruise because you want to fly in at least the day before your cruise. So fly in 2 or 3 days early and use that time to go to KSS.

For a 6 year old, I'd stick with just one day there. My 12 year old and I had a great time, but I could see 2 days being a little too much for a 6 year old.

Interesting...I didn't think of it that way! Thanks!

Thank you! This helps immensely!

We just went last week after our cruise (we were on the Dream 12/16-19). It was awesome, but my kids are 6 and 9 and it was a little much for them. Maybe we were tired because the debarkation day you have to wake up really early (we had first dining, so breakfast for us started at 6:45 am), but it was hard to keep their attention. I would go before the cruise and do only 1 day. There are hotels in the area that offer special parking rates if you stay there the night before cruising, so you could save some money Also, if you're anything like our family, once the vacation is over we just want to get home. We live about 2.5 hours from Orlando/Port Canaveral and I wish we would have gone straight home. With that said, the KSC is a great experience!

LuLubelle 17...Thank you! Depending on our time frame, we might want to just head home and I like the idea of going before the cruise.

I'm also glad that 1 day seems to be the overall feel for KSC.

Thanks!
