I'm just curious if there is a glitch and the window isn't open or they were gone that fast?

Tell us if you got a reservation and for how many and when?

We are booking a larger party and I'm curious if they will allow 8 or I definitely have to split it up.

January 2 lunch, party of 2. I booked it on my ADR day for day 8 of my trip but not right at 6 am (probably closer to 7:30). There were a ton of options still available that far out.

Hmm I wonder if any are coming in after Jan 1 or 2. I'm looking for Jan 3 or Jan 5. I'm still hoping there is some glitch and things didn't open up yet....people can dream...

I looked this morning at 5am CST for the length of our trip (1/8-15) and nothing. Not any day, not any time. Also, tried for Biergarten and nothing for that either. Oh well, we will have fun anyway.

Our dining window opened on Mon morning. Was able to book a table for 7 on Sat 1/15 for lunch, the last day of an 8 day trip

There was a weird glitch with Biergarten for the month of December where there was no availability the entire month for a few weeks. It was really weird since Biergarten is a pretty easy ADR to get. Then one morning, they just magically came back. So, it’s possible Space 220 is having similar issues. Then again, it might just be the popularity and a lot of people who are able to get one early snatching them all up.

I think this is the first Disney ressie to ever escape me!

I feel rather disappointed in myself...LOL

Also, I am trying to make this a trip Santa gives the kids and Santa would be able to get a Space 220 reservation!

I tried yesterday for our January 9th-15th trip. Started looking on the 15th at 6:00am on the dot and worked my way towards the 9th and there was nothing.

Now I'm trying to decide if it's worth the hassle of setting up alerts and checking back regularly. The reviews seem pretty mixed and it's pricey. I made a reservation for Beaches and Cream at the time I'd most love a Space reservation and I'm leaning towards letting this one slip by and consoling myself with an ungodly amount of ice cream.

You can always leave it up to fate and set an alert but then not be disappointed if one never opens up. The kitchen sink is a great consolation prize!! You can also just wait in line for the lounge and have a much more cost-effective experience.

I was fortunate enough to get in the first week when it was walk-up only. We loved every second of it, including the food, and the reviews were really positive that first week. I’ve increasingly seen bad reviews more recently, and people have especially been trashing the food. So I’m a little worried they went all out the first week to get the blogger/influencer hype and now they’ve already dropped in quality. Unfortunately a lot of themed restaurants at Disney have crappy food because they get reservations on atmosphere alone, so it wouldn’t be surprising if that happens here. The good news is that if Space 220 is doing that, word will get out and reservations will be on par with like BoG and CRT (so competitive but not impossible).

Yeah, on our last trip BOG was the impossible to get reservation. We got one and were pretty "meh" on the whole experience. Now BOG is available every day of our trip, lol!
I think I'm concerned that Space is going to basically be Coral Reef with stars and astronauts.

BOG was really good when we were there back in October 2020. We were totally surprised. There were so many limited options back then as things were barely opening up that we made the ressie and hoped for the best. But I have heard the reviews going down again. It's not the end of the world to leave something new until our next trip.....

Thank you both for making me feel better.
