Space 220 Lounge Reservation Question Please

So I got a Space 220 Lounge reservation for me and my wife. We have been there before and enjoy just going up for an appetizer and a drink. Well 2 of our family just advised us that they want to join us for that day in Epcot. I tried to modify the reservation for 4 but no availability. I know in most restaurants having a reservation for 2 and arriving with more usually isn’t a problem however with this being the lounge and limited seating should we just cancel or try showing up with 4? I don’t want to hold a reservation I might not be able to be seated and prevent someone else from getting the reservation

I have a good friend who is a CM (not at S220) that says you can always add one person, but two? I'm not sure. You could ask if there would be room at the bar? I will say that I see a lot of "One & done" comments from patrons, not sure if reservations are as tough as they were at the outset. Good Luck!

The three times I’ve been to the lounge with 2 people, we were seated at a table for two. I wouldn’t count on being able to add any to a reservation for 2 in the lounge since it’s highly unlikely they’d have an extra 2 or 4 person table available - and they won’t just pull up a chair (or 2) to a 2-person table. Maybe use a dining service to see if they can get you another reservation for 2 that overlaps yours or a reservation for 4 for anytime you can swing it. You can also go right when it opens and explain and if they have any cancellations or availability, I’m sure they’d help you.
