2 questions today!

#1
I've not had alot of experience with spa treatments, but i'd like to try a massage on our cruise. What experiences have you had, and what treatments/packages have you liked the best? Also, do you tip at the time of the service, or at the end with the other tips (resaturant, stateroom hostess... )

I think i want to do one of the wine packages, and prepay what i'd be paying for anyway. Has anyone found this not to be a good idea, ( have you not finished the 7 bottles), or found it made more sense just to order it by the glass?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Lisa!

I love massages but have to say that THE best relaxation massage I have ever had was on CC. There is nothing like having the warmth, light breezes, and sound of the ocean as part of the package. My massage therapist here at home does a deeper muscle massage but that is for when I can hardly move from over doing something! and not what you'd be looking for on vacation I'd hope. Tipping for these services is at the time of service. You'll get a slip to sign with a space for the tip.

Wine package: we plan to do this on our upcoming 7 day and if you don't open all of the bottles you can take them home with you. Also if you don't finish one on a given night your servers will move it to the next restaurant for you.

Have a great trip!
Deb

Thanks for the information, i think the wine package sounds like a good idea.

I'm still deciding on the spa, but since it's going to be my birthday, i might treat myself.

Have a great time on your cruise!

Hey! I see you are also in Michigan. Which part? We're on the west side of the state.

I live in Ypsilanti Township, southeast of Ann Arbor. How about you?

Hi lisak1!

what treatments/packages have you liked the best?

I enjoyed and thoroughly recommend the Elemis Absolute Face And Body Treatment. It is expensive - in my opinion - but a nice treat while on vacation.

do you tip at the time of the service

Yes, you can charge the treatment as well as the tip to your stateroom.

I live in Ypsilanti Township

Yikes! I was stuck outside the town of Ypsilani many years ago. I had been working ever so briefly at a home for emotionally distrubed children in Rio, Wisconsin. Decided to return to New York. The memories are flooding back right now...

Buckaroo's Dad,

Sorry to bring all of those repressed memories to the surface! It's a nice place to live, for the most part, close to things, but far enough away too.

This being the first cruise we've taken, i want to have a good time and do all the nice things, but then again, I don't want to do things that really aren't worth it.

Thanks for responding, i've been reading your posts, they always seem to make me smile! :)

We ended up taking a bottle of wine home with us that we didn't finish from the package, so nomatter what, you won't get cheated out if you don't finish a bottle a night. We brought home the sparkling wine and opened it the night we closed on our new home:Pinkbounc
