Spa Tips at Saratoga

Hi all! Normally we are die hard BCV or BWV residents. But this time around, I felt I'd give Saratoga another chance. We stayed once only for a quick two nights and between bad weather and an awful Paddock studio, I was less than enthralled. But...I think it deserves a second look with a one bedroom villa at Congress Park (and besides it will save us some points ).

My question is this. I have never ever done the spa thing before, and I'd like to do the facial, manicure, pedicure as a treat to myself (found a coupon on line as well!!!) Is there any special tipping protocol, or is it most likely similar to a hair salon tipping process?

Yep, same as any salon/spa.

20% per service is customary. Gratuity can be added to your room charge/cc if desired or gratuity envelopes are available at the front desk for cash tips.

I think you'll enjoy the spa at SSR very much.

Now that my DD's are all in their 20's they always trade a park day for a girls day at the spa. I can tell you that we liked it better than the Floridian Spa.
The facilities are newer and the spa is larger. You will also find the same staff as they usually float to where they are needed.
