I'm thinking of surprising DH with the Rasul treatment on our upcoming cruise. My only concern is, I'm 3 months pregnant. I'm supposed to avoid hot tubs and other things that raise the core body temperature. Is this a treatment where you are in a hot environment for a prolonged period of time?

The steam room is very hot. There is a seperate room that has the shower area but you still get very hot. My dh and I have done this treatment twice and will not do it again. It seems we forgot the first time around how hot it was. Next time we will stick with the couples massage. Hope this helps.

You are in the Rasul for an hour....and it does get hot! Even the floor in the steam room was hot to our feet. You can cool off in the shower area during this time, but I don't know if going from hot to cool and back is the best idea for the pregnancy either. Hope that helps! And best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy!

I'd skip the heat and protect your health and that of your unborn child's. A massage would be best at this point!
