Spa Question

I read in another thread about a "Rainforest Pass" for $15/day. Does anyone know what this is, what is included? The prices for services are pretty expensive but if it's a day pass to the spa to use the facility w/o treatments, that would be AMAZING!

Also, does anyone know if there is a steam room on board the Fantasy available for use?

The Rainforest is a room with a few different saunas, heated loungers, different showers and on the Dream/Fantasy whirlpool tubs. I bought the week long pass on the Magic for $99 and it was so worth it! It is co-ed and bathing suits must be worn.
Anyone can use the locker room. There is a dry sauna in the locker room for public use. (At least on the Magic)

And it is $16 per day. On line it is listed as $15 + $1 service charge, on the ship it is just $16. Length of cruise, couple's passes (any 2 people), etc. are available only on board. If they don't sell enough length of cruise, they will offer shorter multi-day passes also (like 4 days on a 7 night cruise).

They do not give refunds or adjustments. For instance, if you win one of the day passes at one of the adult night activities and have already purchased a length of cruise, they will suggest that you can give your day pass to someone else, but will not give you the value as a credit toward your length of stay.

I'd like to add a question. Can you use the one day pass any day or do they give you an assigned day? My Mom and I would like to prepurchase the one day pass to have in our room when we arrive and she wanted to know if you had to use it that day or you can use it anytime.

If we like it we want to purchase a pass for the rest of the week.

What I did was go to the spa open house on embarkation day. I wasn't sure about the Rainforest but after seeing it I knew I would enjoy it. You can buy a one day pass onboard as well. No need to pre-purchase one.

Thank you both for responding! When my mom asked me I was like "No there isn't a set day" but the more I thought about it the less sure I was so that is why I asked. I knew we didn't have to prepurchase but thought it would be fun to have them waiting for us in our stateroom. I've seen some great pictures in a TR that I've been following and it looks like something mom and I would like to do. We will be on the Dream for the June 24th sailing.

Thanks to all the helpful information! The link to the travel review was really helpful and hubby & and I are super excited to spend a day together there! Typically when we "spa together" we are inevitably separated due to the shower areas not being co-ed. This is a HUGE bonus for us! October can't get here soon enough
