We are going to WDW the day after T-giving for a week (our annual Xmas fix before the Xmas crowds).

I would like to give DW an afternoon of relaxation while I take DS to the parks.

Would appreciate any info. and particularly opinions about spa treatments available at the resorts.

Costs? Worth it?
Staff? Good? Attentive?

Whatever you know, please share.

I just posted about a facial I had at the GF Spa...it was a bit pricey, 50 minutes for a little over $100 (they go by time, so they have 25 minutes and 75 minutes too), but it was SO worth it!! The therapist I had (Michelle) was great, very attentive and she made me feel very comfortable. The atmosphere was very peaceful, dimmed lights and music, and you can't hear anything from the outside.

I have a full price list, if you have an idea of what kind of services you're looking for, I can post the prices. Or maybe I'll just post the ranges (I don't have it on me, I can do it tomorrow).

All I have to say is, it's WORTH IT! I think your DW will love it. Also, she can go early and take advantage of the sauna and jacuzzi (we didn't know about them until we got there because we made a last-minute reservation, and they don't recommend you use those right after having a facial).

Okay, I don't have a working scanner, so bear with me:

Massage therapies range from 25 to 80 minutes and start at $57 on up to $175. There are various massages, swedish, sports, mother-to-be, armoatherapy, etc.

Skin Care ranges from 25-75 minutes and start at $57 up to $148. There are facials including for men and children, a back facial, golfer's facial.

Water Therapies and soaks range from 25-50 minutes starting at $46 and up to $102.

Body Treatments range from 25-110 minutes starting at $59 and up to $210.

Hand and foot treatments range from 25-60 minutes, $24-$79.

Couples packages, 50-180 minutes, $242-$320.

Spa packages start at $209 and go up to $480.

The packages sound really nice, in addition to the Spa Sampler, the Citrus Zest Collection sounds nice: Aromatherapy bath, 50 minute aromatherapy massage, and 25 minute reflexology.

I also suggest getting the brochure and price list, it has great descriptions and will probably help you decide. What a great DH you are!

I am having a massage and pedicure at the GF and I am wondering how they are. I have only been to a spa once before and had a horrible experience. (the guy that did my massage started flirting with me and asking me if I wanted to go out that night- there was more, but it's TMI) Anyway, I don't have a good feeling about spas anymore and wanted others opinions because it is in our package plan and I don't want to waste it, but I am concerned. Anyone have any experiences they would like to share with me. Thanks!
