We will be stayin at Windsor Hills which is near AKL and I would like to get my wife a massage. Does anyone know a nice spa near AKL that she could go to? I know Disney has their own spas, but I was just interested in comparing prices to other spas as well.

Thanks

There is a spa, down 192 called Magic nails salon and spa.

I am pretty sure they do massages, I have only had a manicure and pedicure there.

It is in a strip mall by the 417 exit that goes toward the airport and right by the Celebration hospital. There is a Chic-fil-a in the same strip mall. You turn liking you are getting on to 417 to go to the airport, but then make a left in to the shopping center.

It is on the opposite side of 192 as Charley's Steakhouse.

While expensive my wife says that the massages and service at the on-property spas (Grand Floriidian and Saratoga Springs) can't be beat.

The best spa in the area by far is Canyon Ranch at the Gaylord, maybe 8-10 minutes from the AKL. The next best would be at the Dolphin. The WDW spas are OK, but far from world-class.

Magic is actually in Water Tower Place in Celebration. Look for the big water tower on your right as you head up 192. Go through the light and turn right by the gas station by Joe's Crab Shack

I wouldn't really recommend Magic Nails for massages. They are more of a manicure/pedicure place. If you're going to come into Celebration, you'd be MUCH better off to get your massage at Celebration Health (the fitness center in the hospital), which also has a wonderful day spa with all sorts of massage and treatment varieties:

Nothing against Magic Nails...I always go there for my pedicures. But it is NOT a spa, nor even spa-like, just a little nail place in a strip mall.

I agree. Both my Dh and I had some treatments there and they were womderful. Prices are on par with higher end spas.

Mike Ditka's Lighthouse Key resort has a spa that is run by the same group that operates the spas at WDW. The resort is off 192, so I can't imagine that it is far from WH. The pricing looks more affordable than the Disney spas, just as an FYI.

I've heard that the spa at the Dolphin is fabulous.
