I want to take my daughter to Senses for a manicure and I want to get a pedicure. Can you pls explain the differences between relax, renew, and imagine. I have only had two pedis in my life and I do not want to embarrass my daughter so the more I know, the better I wil feel about going. Do they do cute designs too?

What are the prices for drinks and snacks there?

How much gratuity should be added?

Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

Is no one answering bc they don't know either or am I just embarrassing myself by asking? sheessh...

I tip 20% for all spa treatments.

I've never been to a spa anywhere that sold drinks or snacks.

I can't speak about designs since I don't do mani/pedis at full service spas and instead do body treatments.

I read on a different posts that they will do cute designs but not disney related--perhaps this has changed though with the change in Disney taking over ownership. I would simply call now and ask anonymously--I do that all of the time! It works great and gets questions answered (usually) accurately. I also read that 20% is added to the bill, with notice that it is being added.

This might help. About halfway down the page is a menu of services with descriptions of the relax, renew and imagine treatments. Hope this helps.

There aren't any snacks to purchase there but they do offer tea & cucumber-basil water in the lounge.

A 20% gratuity is automatically added. I used my AP to get a 10% discount and the gratuity was on the full retail value (as it should be).

The relax, renew and imagine is just fluff. They'll give you a shot sized glass of a fruit slush to begin your "journey" but it was just silly to me.

It was a nice spa and we really enjoyed our couples massage.

So is our just going for a manicure and a pedicure awkward since this is a full service spa? Should we just go here before our trip?

Why would you feel awkward if you are booking their services?

Not at all. Don't feel awkward and go ahead and book any service you'd like that they offer. It's expensive, so just know that upfront. I can get a pedicure for $22 here and they do a great job but it's also nice to get one on vacation... you'll just pay more for it.

Have fun!

I was just thinking that if most everyone there is getting the whole spa treatment and we just waltz in for pedicures/manicures that it might feel awkward. But I would like to spoil my daughter a little bit while we are there. We waited until our youngest turned 9 to go, so by that time she was 14 and missed out on dressing up as a princess and doing the whole Bibidi Bobidi Boo experience. She always comments on how cute those little ones are with their make overs! She has never said anytthing about it so I wanted to pamper her a little bit! She is 16 now...will be 17 when we go and this is her third trip and we are celebrating her sr yr so wanted to make it special for her and do something girly!
