Spa at SSR

Anyone used the spa at SSR? I'm going to book a massage for dh's 50th & wondered how you found it?

I didn't have a massage, but the pedicures were the best ever! It's really lovely in there. I stress a bit about these kind of places, daft I know, but I find it really difficult to relax, but not there!
(Not that I'm suggesting your DH should have a pedicure!)

This is interesting. We are staying at SSR for the first time in July and I would love to go for a pedicure. I am not the sort of person who would normally do this at home so was wondering how intimidating it is? Does that sound silly! I would want to enjoy it but am a bit worried about it.

Really it's not intimidating at all! I'm the same. I was 50 last week, and my friends got me a voucher for the Molton Brown Spa at Bluewater. Lovely thought, but I am stressing just writing in down!
The Saratoga spa however, I have already told my DH I want another!!

We stayed here last year and was I had a nosey in when walking past

I work in a hair and beauty salon so also don't find it difficult to relax lol but I think I am going to go for it and book some thing just to see how nice it is compared to here

I dont know if you have found it posted on the internet or any thing but i would be more then happy to post the price list i was given when we went last year

Ann, my first time at a spa was when my dad insisted on treating my mom and I to facials at the GF. I thought they were for snobby, posh women, didn't feel like I was going to fit in, couldn't imagine why anyone would want to spend an hour away from the parks to have goo smeared on their face by a stranger, etc.

All that changed in a hurry though - I loved it! The staff were as nice and welcoming as could be and it was SO relaxing! I now go for a facial at least once a month locally and can't wait to hit the SSR spa when we go in October. Definitely give it a try - I'm sure a pedicure would be just as nice!

Go to your user CP click on edit signature and highlight your ticker and just delete
