Received an email and noticed an update on my MDE. I have2 special grouped fastpasses? They have the rides I chose prior to changing package dates.

how are they used. The email is vague. and I have made new fast passes for the adjusted days. Im not sure if I need to cancel the newer fastpasses.
 
They are in addition to your usual 3 fp per day. They should be anytime fast passes that you can use at your convenience. Don't use the buffer zones on your pre-booked fast passes as that can use the anytime passes instead of the passes you intended to use.

Meet Tink 1-2
Pirates. 3-4
Splash. 4-5

Do not use between 1 through 5, but the times prior and after can be used.

And they dont have to be the same experiences, but they have to be park they are issues for.

They can be used between 1 and 5. Don't (for example) try to meet Tink at 12:55 as that will pull one of your special fast passes (if they are multi experience passes) as the buffer times are not "official" and it will pull an active fast pass. If the special fast passes are experience specific that shouldn't matter but someone with more experience may have more info.

Disney gave them to people who had certain high-demand FPs booked but who then had to cancel and rebook due to Dorian
 
I just got an email for the same thing. I was super excited!! However, our family is split into 2 value rooms because there are 5 of us, and all of the special fastpasses are only for 3 people. Do you think my 2nd room will receive them too? I hate to sound ungrateful as it is really nice of Disney to do that, but I can't leave part of the family out, ya know? No one gets left behind or forgotten and all 😊

If they don't add them to the second room in a day or so I would probably call and let them know that your immediate family is in two rooms, I'm sure they will match the second room to the first.
