I keep hearing Sovereign Bank advertising this on the radio-in the Boston area...so I decided to look into it. Anyone ever use a ticket like this? are there a lot of restrictions?

from their website...

My employer just switched their payroll to this bank so I was thinking of it when they were offering a neat tool kit!

My daughter opened a student checking account and got the certificate. You have to fill out the certificate and send it in before 11/28/06. Then you will receive a travel voucher and a pin number so that you can either call or go on line to make your reservation. You must book by 12/13/06 but you will have until 12/15/07 to travel. Black out dates may apply during seasonal and holidays.
..
The travel areas are broken into zones, the Northeast is zone 1 and Orlando is zone 7, the cost of one way fare is estimated to be $280.00 for travel between these 2 zones. So you would pay $280.00 for 2 tickets which is $140.00 so really it is not too bad...I would assume that the price could change if air fare increases substancially.

Is that "one way fare" or one "round trip" fare?

I'm taking my son tomorrow also to get a student checking...and I'm going to open a savings.

The cost is for a roundtrip ticket.

The bank I work for is offering this, too. We got one and I have the voucher already. I called about a month ago to try and book for our December trip, but they didn't have fares out yet, so they said to try back in late august. It's suppose to be pretty easy to deal with.
