You mean outside the Disney property or just outside of the parks? If you are talking about outside of the parks so that you do not have to pay admission, you can go to Downtown Disney. Parking is free there too!

As for outside of Disney property, it depends on what you are looking for. If you go to International Drive, there are TONS of those "tourist trap" type shops. We never go into any of them though because it is mostly junk. There are also quite a few different malls/outlets within about 15 mintues of Disney. We rarely go to them anymore, but we have occasionally in the past. It's always fun to look around those. And then there's the new Ikea!! It's about 15-20 minutes away from Disney. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that store. We dont have one near us, so when I go down to Orlando, I like to go there. I've been once so far and spent about four hours there!
