I'm sorry if this has been done, but I am new here!
I was wondering what everyone brings back for souvenirs. I don't really want to buy stuff there that we can get here in Canada.

I bought a travel coffee mug with Grumpy on it last time, but I broke the handle so I was thinking I'd look for another one without a handle this time.

We bought a lot of clothes from the parks and resort for our DD & DS. We also bought a train set back as well. The train set almost filled up one of our suitcase. :thumbsup2

I got each of my kids a t shirt and they each got a towel on one trip. The last time we all got Disney crocs. You can find them here, but ours were "originals".

Last year we got Disney jibbitz that you couldn't get here at the time (dd wanted Aurora and we couldn't find her anywhere). I always get my dd a dress from Tinkerbell's treasures (she might be too old for that this year, we'll have to see). I get that instead of a princess costume because it's cheaper and unique and she gets to wear it far more. Pur first year I got ds a shirt from Mickey's Philharmagic because he absolutely loved Donald after seeing Philharmagic. We usually get a few things at the outlet store (dh got a Disney tie, I got some t-shirts, etc). One year I got Princess flip flops and a Princess beach bag. I guess we get mostly clothes that are uniquely WDW.

On our last trip I purchased a hoodie from Epcot that was even hard to find there! It is white and covered in Mickey heads, but each one is a flag from a different country represented in the World Showcase! I think they would do well to offer this in a t-shirt to.

On our last two trips ( first was 13 years ago!) I bought a Precious Moments figurine that you are supposed to be only able to get in the parks. I have seen them on line, but they did come all the way from the world so I love them!

I too bought Mickey crocs. I also have several pairs of Mickey earrings you can only get there. They were inexpensive and I wear them all the time.

I have two CDs from MK of the Wishes soundtrack and Spectro's soundtrack. You can not get them anywhere else..

Enjoy your shopping!!

Suz

Last year I bought Disney Mr.Potato Head parts (2 of the "all you can fit in a box for $18" boxes), pearls from the pick-a-pearl place in Japan @ Epcot, a Mickey t-shirt for myself, Pirates pjs and tshirts for my nephews back home... and much more I can't remember right now. Lots of little things. All things exclusive to WDW. On my next trip I will be much more selective.

My favourite and necessary souvenier each trip is a magnet with the year we visited - they have tons of things with the year on it as well, but the magnets are only $4 and easy to bring home, plus I look at it every day and wish I was back:cloud9: I also buy a Christmas ornament:santa: , usually with the year on it as well, but sometimes a favourite character will do (the Christmas store at DTD is my favourite store, especially just to stand inside and inhale the wonderful smells). There are many things in the park gift shops that are unique only to Disney - I think it's nice to buy yourself something you can take home and be able to see it often and be reminded of your wonderful time at WDW!:goodvibes

I always pick up a pin if it's a special event or holiday or just one that I like. One of these days I'm going to mount my collection on felt in picture frames!

An inexpensive souvenir is a pressed penny or quarter. There are pressed penny machines in the resorts as well as the parks.

I've picked up some of the smaller matted prints, depicting the parks, for around $15. each that I get framed at home.

My fridge is covered with Disney magnets! ;)

I got postcards from each park and then put them in my photo albums. I bought photo albums, playing cards, travel mugs, a quilt (that was $10 with the purchase of $50 or more) I love it, it has all the park symbols on it with a giant mickey. The kids buy things from the rides like a Tower of Terror Stitch key chain, a Pirates of the Caribbean play gun. Shirts that say the year you are there are always good too.

I always get some kind of kitchen thing when we go. We have Mickey ice cube trays, acrylic cups with Mickey heads, Mickey hand flipper, mugs and a Mickey head wine bottle stopper. These things are functional and when I use them I am reminded of all the fun we have at WDW! I have also bought beach towels, the best selection can be found at BB or TL. I like to get notepads with Disney characters on them. I use them for grocery lists or quick notes to teachers etc. I also use them to write quick "love notes" to my daughter which I stick in her lunch bag once in a while. She is almost 12 and still loves to get a note in her bag!
Happy shopping!:tinker:

I have a complete set of Winnie the Pooh dishes that I love- would not be able to find them here.

Each kid has their own beach towel.

I have a couple of poster size ride pictures.

Actually I never come home without a few Disney souvenirs:love:

We all get a Disney theme park or resort t-shirt, I buy a musical instrument from a resort, my kids buy a Disney toy each [stuffy or monorail], resort mugs, pins. Sandra

On our last trip I bought a WDW collector's spoon. It had all the characters on it... It's now displayed with my other spoons from all the places I've visited...

Oh ya and aways something from the Christmas store.

Postcards and more postcards,,yeah and I do love a new Mickey keychain ,,not that I need one.:goodvibes
This year I'll be checking out the 365 days of Christmas store,,we are going to do an all Disney Christmas :santa: tree for our resort room at OKW.
Hugs Mel

I have a thing for hats...I have one from our last resort and can't wait to add two more when we do a split stay in the fall
