Souvenirs you regret not getting?

This is crazy, but I've been regretting not buying those adorable Mickey-themed post-it notes. I love office supplies and anything paper-related. Now I realize I can't get them online, and it only makes me want them more!

I have them and none of them stick, but they do curl up so they are not even good for flat notes. Don't know if I got a bad batch or if it is a quirk of the item.

I keep telling myself that when we go in June (first WDW visit) I will keep track in my phone where I see stuff I might want, with a picture and info so that I can either go back to it OR if i get home and want it I can contact merchandise services. But because of this thread I might just spend a crap ton of money (which I had already planned on :D )

More Mickey drinking glasses at WOD. I would always buy at least one every trip. They don't really have these the past few years in favor of more plastic tumblers.

the mickey head pepper grinder at the Screen door at the Boardwalk I hinted to nebo (for mother's day).... reminder to self.. nebo doesn't GET hints. you want something smidgy? just buy it.

I regret buying that same pepper grinder last week at DL. I'll get it yet!

My WDW regret is a zebra design mickey head picture frame. It wasn't expensive and still not sure why I didn't buy it.

Last time I was at WDW was in December 2013 and I had a heck of a time trying to find t-shirts and other merchandise with the year '2013' on it. We finally found some in a store at Downtown Disney. Everything at our resort and in the parks was already 2014 themed. Lesson learned-I went to the Disney Store website last month and ordered t-shirts with 2015 on them for our upcoming trip this December.

Towels, especially one I saw at Animal Kingdom, and those super cute wooden kitchen utensils!

Lincoln Logs Wilderness Lodge set. Came in a round tin. Huge. When i set up my Disney Xmas tree, i think how nice it would look.

This is disheartening! I was going to buy them all! Was this the food shaped ones or the ones with Mickey's face?

I read somewhere that they had Tomorrowland Pins they were giving out in the Chevrolet Showroom at the end of Test Track if you feign interest in buying a Chevy vehicle, and they were doing it while I was there a couple weeks ago! I'd have bought a pin I had seen one anywhere. I missed the boat on that one.

Last year was my family's first trip. I told my kids they could get 1 souvenir each. We ate at T Rex, right after we arrived. My 5 year old daughter wanted to "Build a Dino" as her souvenir. I told her that was not a good idea, because we would be there the whole week, and she might find something she likes better. Well, wouldn't you know...she still talks about that damn dino to this day. We are going back in September, and I made reservations at T Rex again for arrival night. Now, She can build her dino and I can release the mom guilt of "You told me I could get any souvenir. Whyyyyyyy didn't you let me get a dino?"

Your story reminds me of something my (now adult) daughter did on a trip long ago. Our twins were about 5 or 6 years old and we told them they could pick something out to buy at WDW as a souvenir of the trip. In a layover at the Houston airport en route to WDW, DD spies a plastic horse in the airport gift shop.
DW and I explain that we should wait to make the souvenir purchase as there will surely be something at WDW she would be wanting. As you can probably guess,
she fixated on that damn horse for the entire trip. We bought a few things at WDW, but you can bet on our return trip we had to go get that horse at the Houston airport. :)

I regret not buying the 2014 frame on our trip last year. But because of this thread, I just went and bought it on ebay. Thanks guys! :love2: :thanks:

In 2012, we went for Christmas. On our first day, we were in DTD and my daughter saw a stuffed Angel (Lilo & Stitch character) and asked for it. There were hundreds of them (it appeared) so I told her we'll wait until later in our trip. Well, we never saw her again. On our last day, I even asked if there were any more available any where and there were none. My DD was sad, and I was upset and learned if you see something you want, get it when you see it.
Flash Forward to the following summer. On a solo trip I decided for some unknown reason to go on Stitch's Great Escape. I hate the attraction, but did it anyway. Well, when it was over as I was walking into the gift shop, there was a display full of Angels!! I was so excited I squealed and ran over and grabbed one. My daughter was so excited when I got home and gave it to her!

We recently saw Angel for sale at the Disney store. :0)
