Souvenirs you regret not getting?

Tell them as much detail about the item as you can remember. Important things are where you saw it (what park or even better which shop), as detailed a description as possible including the price if you remember it, and the size and/or color of what you are looking for. They will search their database of thousands of merchandise items to try to locate what you seek.

I regret not getting more of the porcelain disc Christmas ornaments and Villains merchandise when the store in HS carried actual Villain themed stuff circa 2002-2004.

This is a timely thread. We just got back on May 5th and I've been wondering why I didn't just get the black tea kettle for my kitchen to match all my other stuff and a purple Haunted Mansion wallpaper mug that I saw. Luckily my son's best friend is headed to WDW on Wednesday so I'm asking him to grab them for me! We've taken him on 3 family trips to WDW so I figure he can't say no. LOL

Last year was my family's first trip. I told my kids they could get 1 souvenir each. We ate at T Rex, right after we arrived. My 5 year old daughter wanted to "Build a Dino" as her souvenir. I told her that was not a good idea, because we would be there the whole week, and she might find something she likes better. Well, wouldn't you know...she still talks about that damn dino to this day. We are going back in September, and I made reservations at T Rex again for arrival night. Now, She can build her dino and I can release the mom guilt of "You told me I could get any souvenir. Whyyyyyyy didn't you let me get a dino?"

I regret not getting the Barbie of last year. I collect them but somehow I forgot and now I regret it...Its the first thing I'm aiming to buy this next vacation.

I bought the black travel mug with rubber top that had the monorail and door warning. Got it home a broke it. They don't sell that type anymore and eBay has not been kind.

I saw something like this at this in the store at the Contemporary, except it said please stand clear of my vacation. I almost bought the mug that said the same thing. I'm so sad I did not.

I'm going to have to look for that mug!

I regret not getting the Wilderness Lodge throw pillow and the long sleeved t-shirt they had last year. I've seen current pictures, so I know it's still in the gift shop, so I hope to pick up the pillow and the new version of the shirt in July.

Last summer, Momento Mori wasn't open yet, so this year I figure my regrets will be not buying out the whole store, LOL!!

The one thing that I tend to regret is not buying a pin when I see one.
Sometime's I will just tell myself, I'm sure they will have that at the emporium and then I find out it sold out or I forget :(

Especially the 2014 24hr pin at DL...

Once I saw a great Mickey Mouse watch with an aviator theme. It came with a matching pen. To this day I regret not getting it. I've found it online, but I really wanted it get it at Uptown Jewelers.

I bought a large glass Halloween candy bowl during our October trip. I refused to check it in and carried it on the plane as my carry on bag. I got it all the way home and left it in the bag until I could pick up some candy. I bought the candy and took the bowl out of the bag and dropped it on my tile floor. It broke in many pieces. :sad1: I made myself feel better by vowing to get online and order another one and I never got around to doing it. I've never seen one like it and am still mad at myself for procrastinating.

I had a friend that was sad that she didn't pick up some light up/chomping skulls that you can wear around your neck or hang them in a window. When we went in October she asked me to pick up 5 of them for her! She was so excited to be able to get them because she meant to go back and get them at MK but never made it back to that park. The look on her face when I gave them to her was worth the time it took me to find them. ::-)

In the All-Star Movies gift shop in 2013 they had thing that if you spent a certain amount of money, you got a gorgeous 'Four Parks, One World' blanket for only 20 bucks if you wanted it. I qualified and gave the blanket to my sister, who loves it to death. I wish I would have gotten one for myself too now.

I collect paperweights and Arribas Brothers had Caithness weights made in Scotland with Snow White etchings. I bought one with Snow White and her prince and their castle but because of cost agonized over an Apple shaped weight with Snow White on one side and Hag on the other. I regretted not buying this as soon as I got home. The next time we went it was on clearance! Our next trip after that I got the weight with the Evil Queen on clearance so I have a complete set.

There was this awesome jacket I saw in the china pavillon that every year I would come back and look at, when i finally was decided to splurge on it this year it was gone.

A lot of the Momento Mori stuff seems to be online. Probably not all of it, but I don't recall seeing anything significant in the store that I hadn't seen online at one point in time. However, they have a cool photo that you can make that looks ghostly as you pass it. It's hard to describe. If you think you might want it, try to go when you are still looking nice for the day, as opposed to after being in the heat, rain, humidity, and sunscreen for 12 hours. I looked like a ghost already at that point, and there was no way I was going to immortalize that on my wall:scared1:

splash mountain big figure. my fave ride and I was kicking myself for not buying it. it took me years to find one on ebay
