Hello all! So today My family decided we would be going on a Disney World Vacation in June of 2015. I would like to get souvenirs for everyone, but would like suggestions and an estimate of how much it will cost. Here is an overview of who all will be going and any must-have souvenirs!

(Please Note: We will be going to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure)

Me (aka Mom)
-Coffee Mug or Teacup

Hannah (daughter) 15
-Pillow Pet
-Keychain(s)

Andrew (son) 12
*Surprise trip for him, souvenir help REALLY needed

Mary (friend)

Patrick (friend) 12
-Star Wars
-SpongeBob

I'm a Disneyland girl but assuming the merchandise is the same:

Coffee Cup- $12.95
Pillow Pets- $30.00
Pins/Keychains- 7.95 and up, some can cost a pretty penny
Ears- $16.95 and up Names on the ears $3 or $7 for deluxe

Star Wars, depends what it is-Build your own light sabor was $2i.95 for a single, $24.95 for a double.

Sponge Bob is not Disney.

Your trip is a year away so prices could change by then.
My dd got a pillow pet for $30 and coffee mug for around $14. She got the headband ears and they were $22 or $23.
Individual pins can be pricey, if you are using them for trading buy those in advance, you can get lots on ebay or other online retailers.
I saw a keychain I wanted (but didn't get), it was $12

I can't help with the other stuff, but just wanted to let you know my 12 year old wanted nothing from WDW except money for the arcade. There was not a single souvenir that interested him. You may have better luck at Universal for that age group.

The OP is going to Universal, too. Not sure if they have Sponge Bob items there, though.

If you go into Disney Store online you can view a large amount of Parks products there.

Sorry, I had to quote your original post, otherwise I'd forget what it was you asked.

Souvenirs:
Mom: coffee cup or tea cup. Do you want it made of glass or plastic? Are you staying on property? Disney sells refillable plastic mugs (you can fill with coffee, tea, hot cocoa [made with water], and soft drinks for your length of stay if you are staying on property. Otherwise, you can get souvenir ones at the parks. If you have a Disney Store near you, check them out, they have nice glass ones that go on clearance at least once a quarter.

Pillow pet/keychains: hmm, check Disneystore.com. If you spend $75 or more, you can get free shipping (make sure you enter the code to get it though). But check Target to see if they have Disney ones.

Son: what does your son like? Characters, etc.

Pins: You can get nice Star Wars pins off ebay. If you go with the basic rack version, you can usually find them on card for $5 or less on ebay (I have no idea how some sellers do that)

It's fine. I would like a glass one since we already have several souvenir plastic cups.
My son likes Star Wars, Cars, Planes, and Finding Nemo. His favorite rides are Space
Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Peter Pan's flight.

Universal most definitely has SpongeBob. I bought a SpongeBob coffee mug there when we took my son to the park for his 8th birthday two years ago. The store we were in had a lot of Nickelodeon merchandise. That was two years ago, but I'm sure it hasn't changed.

Mugs for sure will run you between $11.95 and $14.95. It depends on the size and style. I always tend to buy one mug during each trip to Disney and my other vacations. ;) Can't help myself.

Keychains start at $7.95 and go up. Pins start at $7.95 (I think).

There are the smaller items too like pencils and such that won't cost you $8.00. I always loved the little stuff when I was a kid. :rotfl:
