hello everyone,

i'm doing up my final Disney budget and i'm looking for a rough ballpark on what to expect for certain souvenirs. just a ballpark...doesn't have to be specific at all...i'm just looking for an idea of how much money I should allow each of my daughters to have. things on their lists include:

- ear hats - they will probably choose 'fancy' ones, rather than the plain black ones - for example, the princess one or a character one
- design your own t-shirts at that shop...I can't remember what it's called...
- basic character christmas tree ornaments - nothing made of gold obviously, lol
- medium sized stuffed character

any input as to what to expect for each of these?

also, if anyone has any *unique* ideas for children's souvenirs, that would be awesome. they are doing pin trading, autographs and penny press. anything else would be an added bonus :)

they are 8 and 10 years old. i'm not really sure how much spending money I should allow them. what do you think? any suggestions?

I'm thinking the ears are around $20 depending on the ones they pick may be a little more. Customized t shirts at downtown Disney are about $25 I believe . Prob about $10 for a ornament and I'm not sure about stuffed character we rarely buy those. I'd say if you have each one a budget of $100-$120 they should be able to get everything on that list plus maybe something else

I thought the shirts were more than that, I went right after they opened that shirt place. Personalizing the ears used to cost more too, we paid $25 for the ears with the lights years ago. Stuffed toys probably $30, DD got a pillow pet Tigger and I think it may have been closer to $40.00 $100 should cover it, DD usually waits a few days to make sure she really wants something.
